This week my #simplejoysaturdayvibes is learning how to take better photos on my digital camera. I have always used manual mode but I had to figure out the settings and if I turned off my camera I had to set it up all over again. I used Indoor mode yesterday to take photos of my ornaments and got great photos of them faster than I ever get on manual mode, and honestly the photos are way better than I get on manual mode too. My other joy from the week is elderberry syrup. My mom made it for us to try this year. I came down with a cold this week so I tried the syrup for it, and on day 2 it was already decreasing my coughing fits and sore throat. I typically catch a cold in Fall and it hangs on throughout the Winter and sometimes into Spring. Elderberry syrup really helps me and it tastes really good too. I have really enjoyed making these posts because I notice the nice little things more throughout my week and then on Saturday I reflect on the nice things from the past week.
