Pokémon Sun & Moon AU (?) (Contains OCs!!!)

This started out as a thing that my best friend came up with. Her OC, Briar Moon (since we decided to keep up with the idea of the name ‘Moon’ being a thing, even if it isn't a first name), is a pharmaceutical specialist, and moves to Alola to study their more natural tactics of healing. Since it was cheap, Briar gets a house near the ever-rainy place that is Po Town. Luckily, the aforementioned town and its surroundings are (literally) crawling with poison and bug type Pokémon, which can give her a jump on her research.
Her little sister, Addsion Moon, is sent over from Kanto by their parents, them wanting Briar to get to know her kid sister and vice-versa, as well as give Addison more awareness of different cultures and regions. At the beginning, though, she’s a bit of a brat. Of all the places in the world, why was Alola the region she went to? She could’ve gone to fancy, romantic Kalos, or the mysterious and beautiful Sinnoh region, but Alola? Ugh.
But, she takes to it quickly after meeting her best friend. A Rowlett. With the owlish sphere of a Pokémon by her side, Addison began to see how exciting and bright this place could be, and off she went!
Canon plotline, canon plotline, etc., etc.
There are very little differences there, but there are some. Like more implicit attraction between Gladion an Addison (I’m always a slut for Gladoon/Lunar Edges/ in this case, GladDison). Then there’s what’s going on with Briar. Living near Po town while Team Skull activity gets more constant just has to have its difficulties and perks and-
(Cue Guzma leaving Po Town to go to Malie Garden)
Wait a second. Is that the guy who runs Team Skull?

Most of the stuff we’ve figured out is really the postgame details. After the disbanding of Team Skull, she and Guzma interact a little more, and they come to like each other. Platonically at first, though. Addison takes place of the typical Moon character, therefore being the Alolan champion and all, and as postgame implies/says, Gladion is now running the Aether Foundation. Not much canon distortion there. The characters’ relationships with one another become more prominent over time, to the point where Guzma is actually living with Briar, and Addison and Gladion communicate on a rather regular basis.
