YES DO IT!!! I'm starting season 3 of SG1 now. I just love this show so much. And rewatching it now I see so many things I missed before. Once I finish sg1, I'm going over to Atlantis ❤️

Do Greeks view Santorini as Atlantis? Or is that just for tourists?
Nice question! Greeks know that Atlantis is supposed to be located after the Heraclean Pillars, in the Atlantic ocean. We suspect, though, that the myth reflects the reality of the ancient Thera volcano eruption (in Santorini) which later caused the collapse of many Greek civilizations in the area.
We make this general connection don't say that Santorini = Atlantis. After all, a volcano didn't erupt in Atlantis. But a volcano could have erupted somewhere else and cause huge waves.
Others say that the story of Atlantis speaks about the melting of the Ices after the Ice age and the rising of sea levels. Of course we have one different story for the cataclysm (Deucalion and Pyrra) but that doesn't I mean we can't have a second one - Atlantis

Creo que es la primera película animada que he visto en este tiempo y en realidad la puse para rellenar el espacio del día peeero debe entrar dentro del conteo. Siempre le he tenido un cariño especial a Atlantis y entra dentro de las icónicas de mi infancia que son inflamables en amor y tranquilidad.
Hace algunas semanas vi un tiktok donde decían que entre los personajes estaba la clasificación actual de lesbianas y es taaaan real que duele. Igual quién pudiera tener a alguna de esas mujeres gigantes, ideales y perfectas. Si pienso en Milo como una mujer gay me cae muy bien, si pienso en él como Milo, un hombre, blanco, heterosexual... se me hace un poco incel que saca de su fanfict el escenario perfecto de White Saviour sin un propósito real.
Creo que este tipo de películas son dedicadas a alimentar a niños como salvadores y protectores aunque ni verga, a alguien como Kida es muy Ramona Flowers con Scott Pilgrim... MUY.
Quiero darle un detalle a la película y es que tiene en realidad una diversidad de personas que en ningún momento pretende estereotipar (si se piensa mucho sí, porque igual el que piensa pierde y ajá) sobre el origen y el trasfondo de los personajes. Además, es bastante real y gráfica sobre la colonización, saqueo y destrucción que existe en la invasión de territorios.
