Itās hard to believe a full month of 2019 has almost passed us by already. Time flies when itās measured by new music from our favorite artists/bands, and itās really going to speed on by now that we have new Freedom Fry to infatuate us! As the āseasons changeā and spring comes knocking at our door, what better company can we ask for than a jam like The Seasons? The French-American duo brings us a funky boogieing bassline and a dashing effusion of their psychedelic alt-folk on their tune. The Seasons is like Reflektor-era Arcade Fire gone Portugal. the Man, with an abundant saturation of Freedom Fryās 70s-inspired vintage charm. But wait, The Seasons isnāt the only treasured new treat that Freedom Fry has blessed us with this month! The Seasons is actually the title track from a new three-song EP that Bruce Driscoll and Marie Seyrat released last Friday! Also on the EP is a dreamy blustering rustic wrangler named A Beautiful Day, as well as a sweetly melting, snuggle-ready indie acoustic cover of Molly Nilssonās Hey Moon, both of which you can find below. The husband-wife duo says: āāThe SeasonsāĀ is about how people's moods are more up in the Summer and down in the Winter. It's also about time passing and watching the seasons of your life go by. We wanted to write something upbeat with a strong bass-line. The verses are dark like Winter and the choruses are feel-good and bright like Summer.ā Stream all three songs directly on Soundcloud, here. Follow Freedom Fry on their website, here.
