Alfendi how I adore you
#alright chat who wants to hear my ramble#too bad I’ll start by saying I personally am not plural but I have a dissociative disorder (dpdr) and extrapolated#from my own experiences and experiences from systems I’ve heard#basically I have this idea that alfendi’s system is made up of three aspects each ofc made to ensure safety or handle certain situations#the ‘placid’ prof for simplicity sake however will be called purple henceforth while the Alfendi ppl knew before the shooting will be red#basically purple has mostly functioned as a soothing presence and voice who rarely fronts#except in some exemplary situations when red is unable to handle it and purple must take over to guide the body to safety#purple is very much a ‘fawning’ aspect who feels closer to a robot than a human#not that he doesn’t have emotions but he is very very insistent on going with the flow and not being disruptive#whereas red has primarily been a ‘fighting’ aspect whose nature has led him to be most often in control of the body#after lbmr red has to acknowledge purple’s existence and has to now comfort purple when it has always been the other way around#I personally hc Alfendi to be an osdd system of some sort with not fully formed aspects but with distinct personalities and inner voices#and then there’s yellow#yellow exists as a permeating presence in the mind#red and purple feel it there and know something else exists but yellow is elusive#in my head and unbeknownst to the bros yellow may be equated to a watching eye#also there are no amnesia barriers between the three aspects#anyways yeah I like Alfendi a lot I wish they did him better#ALSO NOTE#pls don’t interpret this as me saying ‘this is what osdd looks/feels like’ or like anything all that serious im just making hcs#now id love to hear like other ppls opinions but pls don’t take this as an informational post of any kind#rev and his tags amiright#alfendi layton#layton brothers mystery room#lbmr#Professor Layton#cw eyestrain#cw dissociation#plural characters#my personal hcs
