After getting dressed in warm clothes you look all around your apartment for Goat, but they’re not here. Sitting down your couch moans, you lean back. As sigh a slight bit of relief... your couch splits apart, you suddenly fall back into what seems like a pit a moment later you realize what’s happening. Your couch just opened its maw and is attempting to swallow you! Reaching an arm out to try and grab hold of something you fail---

You’re falling down down down. The wind hitting your body all over, it’s been a minute since you’ve seen any light at all and suddenly. A teal mist starts swirling around you as it gets brighter and brighter. The bottom of your fuzzy socks landing on a wooden floor. Your toes tense up as you hear a deep voice behind you.

They look at you astonished as the water continues to move with them they say

Laughing you say

The Gnome still confused brings the water back down to the river and tells you they’ve never heard of that before. You grab your phone going through google you search up avatar the last airbender... nothing you hoped for appears. Confused you say to the gnome

¨Ah, sorry forget about it¨

They’re in the middle of telling you it’s alright but you’ve already bolted off. With a grumble on how bothersome kids are these days he returns to relaxing by the river bed.

¨Does anything look, erm... out of the ordinary to you?¨ 

That question clearly doesn’t seem to weigh heavy as the child looks at you curiously, tilting its head a bit. They seem confused as if this is the first time they’ve ever heard this question in their life. Responding she says

Once the child is gone you can see that nobody else seemed to be concerned with your stumbling, but as you look you can see that people are clearly different. More tall people with those long ears, Small green people that sort of shamble around some on all fours, big purple, grey, green beasts that stomp around, a- a normal person but with a horse torso.

You lay your arm on the railing of the bridge, and then your head atop that. The coins in your pocket jingle, it feels like the most normal day you’ve ever had. A short day at the deli with nice customers. You check your watch and it seems like it’s time to go, you’re going to be late for your doctors appointment.
