I finally had time to start the comic~!

I can tell that I'll be doing a lot of experimenting with backgrounds, so I doubt they'll stay consistent in the series, but I already had a lot of fun with just page 1, and I can't wait to get to work on the next~!

Note: This was back in December/January and the style is massively outdated. But I wanted to actually finish it and not redo it for a second time, so this first couple of pages are a bit rough. And the basic prologue was written before TADC ep 7, so characters might act out of character due to lack of context and studying these characters. But I have improved since then and Issue 1 should be better in character development and art style.

Written

The jail cell was cold, the kind of cold that seeped into your bones and sat there, rotting you away from the inside out. Cassian's eyes were shut against the dull torchlight- they hadn't bothered with windows. It was stuffy and damp and the harsh stone bench had left him physically sore and emotionally sour. He shifted his weight again, uncrossing his leg just to set his other ankle against the knee, hands folded in the pristine fabric of his lap. A lock of silky blond hair fell into his face and he flicked it away with a twitch of his head, annoyance only growing. What was taking so long? Lancaster was usually here withing the hour...

"Someone's here for you, Bauer," a call came, voice dripping with venom. Cassian peeked open an eye to see a stocky, tanned young guard standing at the bars with a key. There was a sad little line on his upper lip that would've been an impressive mustache, had he been a lady, and his downturned eyes held an astounding volume of contempt, considering how small they were for his boyish face. "You're a free man," the guard continued, "for now..."
