So as my brain decided to unfortunately also take a rest this holiday break, I am officially returning back to the world of fanfictions.
I started with Jercy a few days ago, and man, Iâm still lost inside these endless fanfics. Iâm also off to search for Solangelo stuff and Scorbus. Are there any recommended fanfictions for these? Preferably smut but whatever will do.
Anyway, just a few more hours until 2017! Here we gooooo~

Albus:Â âHmpf-â
Scorpius:Â âNo way. Not until you finish your potions homework.â
- Albus seems to have a different perspective on how to sort his priorities.
Here is a compilation of scorbus moments, all taken word for word from the hpatcc script (which I do not own, in case of copyright issues). Most of them speak for themselves:
Act 1:
Scene 14
âAMOS: This is going to be dangerous.
ALBUS: We know.
SCORPIUS: Do we?
âŚ
AMOS: You do understand even getting the Time-Turner will risk your lives.
ALBUS: Weâre ready to put our lives at risk.
SCORPIUS: Are we?â
scorpius hasnât a clue whatâs going on or what albus is planning but he follows him to different worlds and through time itself, even after a warning that he is likely to lose his life doing it
Scene 16
âALBUS: Right. Me next.
SCORPIUS: No. No way, JosĂŠ. If weâre doing this, weâre doing it (he puts on a pair of familiar-looking glasses with a smile) together.â
Scene 19
âSCORPIUS/HARRY: My point is, thereâs a reason weâre friends, Albus â a reason we found each other, you know?â Â
âALBUS/RON: How to distract Scorpius from difficult emotional issues. Take him to a library.â
let us notice the choice of words, âtake himâ - that sounds date-like enough, doesnât it?
Act 2:
Scene 4Â ft. jealous cinnamon roll
âSCORPIUS appears at the back of the stage. He looks at his friend talking to a girl â and part of him likes it and part of him doesnât.â
âDELPHI: Great. Wizzo!
SCORPIUS: Whatâs wizzo?
SCORPIUS steps forward decisively.
ALBUS: Cracked the spell. I mean, itâs pretty basic, but I was â well, I cracked it.
SCORPIUS (over-enthusiastic, trying to join in): And Iâve found our way through to the school.â
âSCORPIUS isnât enjoying the DELPHI-ALBUS double act.â
Scene 9, after Harry separates Scorpius and Albus
âALBUS looks up at SCORPIUS and his heart breaks. He walks on.
âŚ
ALBUS: I canât, okay?
SCORPIUS: You canât what?
ALBUS: Just â weâll be better off without each other, okay?
SCORPIUS is left looking up after him. Heartbroken.â
tell me this does not resemble a classic break-up scene
Scene 12
âALBUS enters and walks up one staircase.
SCORPIUS enters and walks up another.
The staircases meet. The two boys look at each other.
Lost and hopefulâall at once.
And then ALBUS looks away and the moment is brokenâand with it, possibly, the friendship.
And now the staircases part â the two look at each other â one full of guilt â the other full of pain â both full of unhappiness.â
the entire Act 3 Scene 12 - the actual entire scene -Â is just scorbus, honestly
Scene 14
âDELPHI: Albus needs you, Scorpius. Thatâs a wonderful thing.
SCORPIUS: He needs me to do what?
DELPHI: Thatâs the thing, isnât it? About friendships. You donât know what he needs. You only know he needs it. Find him, Scorpius. You two â you belong together.â
even Delphi can see this, jfc
Scene 16
âALBUS: No. Theyâre not true. And Iâll tell you why. Because I donât think Voldemort is capable of having a kind son â and youâre kind, Scorpius. To the depths of your belly, to the tips of your fingers. I truly believe Voldemort â Voldemort couldnât have a child like you.
Beat. SCORPIUS is moved by this.
SCORPIUS: Thatâs nice â thatâs a nice thing to say.
ALBUS: And itâs something I should have said a long time ago. In fact, youâre probably the best person I know. And you donât â you couldnât â hold me back. You make me stronger â and when Dad forced us apart â without you â
SCORPIUS: I didnât much like my life without you in it either.â
Act 3:
Scene 9
âSNAPE: Youâre a king, and Iâm a professor. Theyâll only attack with good reason. Think about those you love, think about why youâre doing this.
SCORPIUS: I can hear my mother. She wants me â my help â but she knows I canât â help.
SNAPE: Listen to me, Scorpius. Think about Albus. Youâre giving up your kingdom for Albus, right?â
when they were getting attacked by dementors
âALBUS: Scorpius. Have you been eating too many sweets again?
SCORPIUS: There you go, you see â all dry humor and Albus-y. I love it.â
Scene 14
âALBUS: ⌠this, itâs all my faultâand if it wasnât for you everything could have gone Dark.
SCORPIUS: But it didnât. And youâre to thank for that as much as me. When the dementors were â inside my head â Severus Snape told me to think of you. You may not have been there, Albus, but you were fighting â fighting alongside me.â
thatâs some powerful love right there
Scene 19
âDELPHI: ⌠It took me a long time to discover your weakness, Albus Potter. I thought it was pride, I thought it was the need to impress your father, but then I realized your weakness was the same as your fatherâs: friendship. You will do exactly as youâre told, otherwise Scorpius will die, just like that spare did.â
scorpius is albusâ greatest weakness, let us contemplate on that
Act 4:
Scene 5
âSCORPIUS: So we hide in a hole?
ALBUS: As pleasurable as it will be to hide in a hole with you for the next forty years⌠theyâll find us. And weâll die and time will be stuck in the wrong position. No. We need something we can control, something we know heâll get at exactly the right time. We need a â
SCORPIUS: Thereâs nothing. Still, if I had to choose a companion to be at the return of eternal darkness with, Iâd choose you.â
AND THEN SUDDENLY in Scene 14
âSCORPIUS: Rose Granger-Weasley. I asked out Rose Granger-Weasley.â
but NO MATTER, because this happened:
âSCORPIUS reaches in and hugs ALBUS.
Whatâs this? I thought we decided we donât hug.
SCORPIUS: I wasnât sure. Whether we should. In this new version of us â I had in my head.
ALBUS: Better ask Rose if itâs the right thing to do.
SCORPIUS: Ha! Yeah. Right.â
complete with nose-bumping and cheek-patting in the actual play according to this (bless you for sharing this with the fandom)
and thus, in light of Overwhelming Evidence, I conclude: scorbus is canon, they are the cutest and canonest thing to canon since the beginning of time, and anyone who thinks otherwise can fight me asdfghjkl;
Attention Potterheads!!! We need to make an official albusxscorpius ship name because at the moment people are using all sorts.... I liked scalbus until someone pointed out that it sounds like a foot disease....

Filling that anon fic request for "a one-shot where Scorpius starts to think he isn't good enough for Albus, and fluffy ensues". Â It's behind a cut not because it's smutty but because it's super freaking long and I don't want to spam your dash with Scorbus if you don't want to see it. :)Â
It was always in the dead of the night when the gloomy thoughts needled him. They prodded at him and poked sore spots in his heart till he couldn't hide beneath his coverlet anymore. No matter how deeply he tried to lose himself in his imagination they only defied him; sweet memories inevitably turned sour and heartfelt longings became bitter acceptance of what would never be.
Scorpius often wondered if this was his punishment for loving his best friend.Â
Albus was perfect in every way. His hair was always ruffled, giving him just the right dash of casual confidence. Scorpius couldn't imitate that unkempt look without crossing over to messy. Where Albus had an easy smile that made his handsome face all the more enticing, Scorpius could manage - at best - a sly smirk that only served to scream snobby at his own reflection. Albus was a golden boy, Harry Potter's son, and there was nothing he could do to measure up.Â
The Malfoy name had a storied history and most of those tales were dark, terrible, and full of examples of why he, scion of the Malfoy line, would never be good enough for one of the children of the Boy Who Lived.
Scorpius fisted his hand against the glass of his dormitory window and stared out into the blackness that was beyond. Slytherin dormitories were beneath the lake, the same as their common room, and his window rarely showed anything more than murky, greenish water and the occasional fish. Tonight it only cast darker shadows outside the dim circle of light his beside lamp offered. They were twisted things, much like his thoughts, and cast eerie pictures on the stone floor.Â
Right now he didn't much care if the giant squid itself came through the glass. It might be welcome - an escape from the myriad of desperate thoughts that plagued his mind.Â
A feather light touch made him flinch; his grey eyes were wide with a fright that wasn't wholly due to being surprised when he looked over his shoulder. "Albus...you should be in bed."
The Christmas holiday was perfect for them; with few students left at Hogwarts they had the dorm to themselves and no questioning boys to wonder what went on behind the curtains around Scorpius' four poster.Â
"So should you. What wicked thing has pulled you out of it tonight?" Albus was no stranger to the nightmares that haunted Scorpius. Ever since they were first years he'd known that Scorpius was rarely visited by pleasant dreams. The pressures of being the only Malfoy heir weighed heavily on him and, when he learned of his family's past crimes, they only worsened.Â
"It's nothing." Scorpius managed a small smile and leaned down to kiss the shorter young man on his forehead. Albus wasn't as tall as his boyfriend but he was stronger and broader in the shoulders. And, more importantly, he was more perceptive than Scorpius liked at times.
"That's a lie, Scorp. Do you want to explain it to me in bed or out?" Albus rested a warm hand on the small of Scorpius' back, his fingers calloused from years of quidditch practice rubbed the blonde's skin gently.Â
Scorpius could feel his tongue loosen under Albus' gaze and, in order to preserve what little dignity he still had left when alone with his best friend, he turned his head to look back out the window. It was more like a porthole, wasn't it? He hated boats almost as much as he hated lying to Albus. To avoid the subject he'd endure the bitter taste that rose in his throat at the idea of both. "It wasn't anything important, Albus. Go back to sleep so I can wake you dreadfully early to open your presents."
The dark haired youth was having none of Scorpius' evasiveness. Albus tucked his fingers beneath the waistband of Scorpius' pajama bottoms and gave a little tug. A silent plea to join him in bed.
That would be easier, wouldn't it? To crawl back into bed and kiss Albus till he forgot for the moment how utterly undeserving of the young man he was. That wouldn't fix the cracks in his confidence but by Merlin's beard, would it help soothe his aching heart. It wouldn't be the first time he'd lost himself in Albus' lips to stave off his inner demons and it might not be the last.Â
If he was that lucky.
"I can't, Albus. I...please?" Scorpius glanced over his shoulder again. A sliver of the misery in his heart must have been in his eyes because Albus didn't back away. His arms snaked around Scorpius' waist till he was hugging him from behind. Little kisses were pressed to each bump of Scorpius' spine and, despite himself, the blonde sighed softly.Â
"You're the only thing I want for Christmas, Scorpius. Why wait till morning to unwrap you?" At Albus' words Scorpius' sigh became a little ragged around the edges, his shoulders tightening. That would be a much better way to forget what had pulled him out of bed. The thought of it made him ache to guide Albus' hands lower but he only shook his head, muttering something.Â
"What was that? Was that a yes?" Albus' smiled and nipped Scorpius' shoulder blade lightly, teasing him to try and get him to repeat himself as the mumble had been imperceptible.Â
"I said I don't deserve you." Scorpius whispered the words, barely beyond the volume he'd uttered them before. But, at the way Albus tightened his grip on him, there was no doubt he'd heard this time.
"Scorpius...I don't know why you think that. You're as close to perfect as can be. You're all I've ever dreamed of." Albus tried to get his lover to turn but Scorpius shook his head, strands of blonde hair veiling his face from Albus. His height put Scorpius at an advantage and, with how his hair fell forward there was no way Albus could see the flash of pain in his eyes.
"And what if one day your dreams change? Dreams are fickle, terrible things Albus. What if one day you stop dreaming of me? What if I become a nightmare to you? IÂ should be one already." Scorpius' voice cracked and he dug his fingertips into the stone next to the window, hissing out a sigh.
"How could my silver haired lover be anything but a dream? You've been there through everything, Scorpius. You were there when I fretted about telling my parents I'm gay. You were the one that punched James for calling me a poof when he was much bigger and stronger than you. You were the one I dreamed of when I imagined someone who'd love me, all of me, and you were there when I grew brave enough to tell you. You waited for me. You're a prat sometimes, yes. You copy my homework when you're too lazy to do yours. You steal my chocolate frogs just to see me scowl. You borrow my trousers and they hang just a hair too low on your hips because you know it makes me crazy. And you're the one to stay up with me when I'm studying. You're always ready to kiss that scowl off my lips. You're the one to slide your stolen trousers off when you've teased me just to the breaking point. You're a git at times but you're my sort of perfect." Albus' words made Scorpius' eyes go hot and he ignored the prick of his tears and the knot in his throat. "Scorpius, you're the anchor and I'm the ship. I'd float away without you, adrift in a sea of people that only love me for who I am. They don't know me like you do. I don't want them. I want you. I love you, Scorpius."
What did he say to that? Scorpius squeezed his eyes shut and, before his doubts could freeze him in place, he turned and buried his hands in Albus' hair while his lips pressed greedily against his. His mind screamed a thousand terrible things at him but his heart was in accord with the way he scooped Albus up and brought him back to bed. "I hate ships but I love you too, Albus. You're the steady one, never me, but I appreciate it. You always were something of a poet, you know that?"
Albus laughed softly, the sound turning to a whimper as Scorpius pressed hot kisses to his neck. "Not my finest work by any means but I'm grateful nonetheless for the praise. And even more for getting to open my favorite present early."
A mischievous smirk spread across Albus' lips and, in that moment, Scorpius could see more Weasley than Potter in his lover. He banished all thoughts of the rest of Albus' family as he nibbled the other young man's neck. "If you're really good you'll get to play with it all day too."
Laughter left his lover and, somewhere deep in the back of Scorpius' mind, he almost believed all the sweet words Albus had said. His love was here now with him and that would have to be good enough in colder nights when he was a forgotten dream.Â
Or, as he feared so feverishly, a nightmare in the back of Albus' mind.
write a scorpius x albus one shot with their first kiss please and thank you
Delighted to! :3 It went longer than intended. Hope you like it!
Detention was not supposed to be a pleasant experience. It was intended to be a punishment and, for sneaking around the castle after curfew, Scorpius Malfoy found himself polishing suits of armor in a wing of the castle he was sure no one even used. Luckily he wasnât alone.
Albus had been dragged into his housemateâs punishment when heâd only been trying to get Scorpius to go back to bed. The other young man was pointedly ignoring him, paying keen attention to the armor and working at such a pace that Scorpius knew he was still livid.
"AlbusâŚhow many times must I apologize?" The youngest Malfoy sighed, flipping the polishing cloth over his shoulder as he moved across the hall to try and get Albus to look at him. As if heâd never spoken, Albus continued on working.Â
Their detention had caused them both to miss out on a quidditch match. A Gryffindor versus Slytherin quidditch match too. Scorpius winced when his friend rubbed at the armor rather roughly. He was probably thinking the same thing.Â
"AlbusâŚ" Scorpius reached out, grabbing Albusâ hand to force him to stop. In a way it got him what he wanted; Albus looked at him, lips pursed, and his anger plain in his eyes.
"Just go do your suits of armor so we can be done. If weâre lucky the game might stretch on and we could at least watch." Albusâ voice was firm and he tried to yank his hand out of Scorpiusâ grip.Â
The taller young man wasnât ready to release him. Scorpius laced his fingers between Albusâ and smiled. It was the sort of smile the younger Slytherin girls sighed over and he hoped it might soften his friendâs temper. âAlbus, you know weâll never be finished before itâs over. Filch reminded up several times that thereâs over two hundred suits here. Weâll be lucky to finish before Monday."
"All the more reason to stop grabbing at me and get back to work!" Albus yanked harder and when Scorpius didnât let go, he made an annoyed sound. That sound caused the blonde young man to grin.
And that grin served to snap the last remaining threads of Albusâ patience.Â
His other hand came up with an open palm, slapping Scorpius upside the head and ridding his lips of that damnable grin. Scorpius hissed and, using his grip on Albusâ hand, tugged him to his chest. His efforts to keep Albus pinned to him were in vain; Albus stomped on Scorpiusâ foot, causing him to yelp in pain and release his friendâs hand.
They had roughhoused before, when they were younger, but there was something less playful about the way Scorpius shoved Albus against the wall. When they were younger they hadnât really been able to hurt one another but Scorpiusâ foot stung and his head ached where Albus had struck him. Both his hands pinned the smaller Slytherin against the stone wall, holding Albus at the wrists, and he loomed over him, glaring down. Both their chests heaved with adrenaline and the rush of breath from their sudden outburst.Â
That fever pitch of Scorpiusâ blood urged him to do more. To act on thoughts he buried deep in his mind, away from any hopes that midnight fantasies could become reality. As he stood there, pressed against Albus to keep him still, he tried to stop the steady stream of thoughts one shouldnât have about their friend. But, when Albus reached up and buried a hand in his blonde hair and gave a tug, reason fled him.
Scorpius leaned in and pressed his lips against Albusâ, ignoring the startled sound his friend made. It was a firm kiss, as rough as his calloused hands that slithered up Albusâ arms to his hands, passionately gripping them. Their lips began to work against one another with equal fervor and he was certain he heard a whispered âFinallyâ from Albus.
After a moment Scorpius withdrew, eyes on Albusâ lips that were reddened and puffy from the way theyâd kissed. Heâd imagined kissing the dark hair boy so many times before but heâd never put any thought into how his friend might react if he didnât like it. Had he really heard that whisper? Or was that his imagination assuring him he wasnât playing the fool? Â When Albus pushed away from the wall to kiss him again, his worries fled.
It really would take them until Monday to polish all these suits of armor if they kept kissing instead of working. If that was a concern whatsoever to the boys half hidden in the shadows, they didnât show any signs of it. Nor did they show any signs of pulling away from one another.
Scorpius always had a fear that he wasn't living up to expectations. He was in the wrong house with the wrong friends, excelling in the wrong subjects. He felt like his father could never be proud of him, and that was worse than anything else. And then something changed, and with it, everything else did too. He stopped striving for his father's approval when he realized that he had something much more important. Albus Severus' love.
