I’m particularly nostalgic for the Archies right around 1970 when I was a little little kid.
I just got these 2 records on eBay. They were cut off the back of AlphaBits cereal boxes (see the first image). They’re smaller than 45s, but play at 33&1/3. They have less than an inch of grooves on the edge.
I remember my Dad cutting out one of the blue ones off and playing it for us kids. The cardboard record was so light it would get stuck on the needle. I think he weighed it down with quarters in the second to get it to spin with the turntable?
Not sure why Sabrina was presenting? I bet her cartoon was on at the time too.

Ooooh, I wonder if eating Alphabits will make me more smarter!
I loved that this book focused on sibling bonds and family structures. We got to see a lot of personal growth for Ozzy. One of the other things that I really loved about this book was the autism rep! I’m not sure how well it was done, but it felt well researched and realistic...but 🤷♀️. I loved that Lance didn’t treat his baby brother any different then he would anyone else.
The only thing I didn’t like in this book was that Cyrus seemed to have gained a new accent? I don’t know if the authors just let him adopt that whole “aw’ shucks” thing for just this book or if it’s a complete change from the first three books. It just a little frustrating because it took me completely out of the story when it happened.
Overall I really enjoyed this one even if I did get kicked out of the story a bit. This is getting a solid three and a half stars.
