So i just listened to 'Only Girl' by Stephen Sanchez, and i suddenly imagined ITIMMW!Valarr. Most specifically, how he would react when reader told him she's pregnant 🥹

Like i imagined that he just finished a meeting with the small council, and he immediately seek out his wife to their shared chamber. When he got there, he hugged his wife tightly behind her. Burying his face on her neck, breathing her in, her scent making him relax. She giggled, "Honey, c'mere. Right infront of me, husband."

She tug the sleeves from his arm that wrapped tightly around her waist, and he relunctantly let go and walk to face her infront, suddenly smiling with confusion when he saw her shy smile. "What is it?" He ask, "What makes my wife smile so pretty like that, hmm?". She cleared her throat, "I have to tell you something" she whispered as she leaned closer to him, like she's gonna let him a secret. "What is it", he whispered back as he also leaned toward her, their foreheads almost touching.

"I'm pregnant."

Silence followed around them, that the birds' chirping outside can be heard so loud from the closed window. His eyes widen, and let out a choked gasp. His eyes wander up and down from her eyes, and to her flat belly. He couldnt believe what he just heard. "Y-you're...pregnant?" He ask, trying to confirm if he's hearing it right. Reader nods, her eyes brimming up with unshed tears. So is his eyes, as his smile widens from disbelief and excitement that course through his veins.

"You're pregnant?? Oh my god, my wife is pregnant!!" He shouted, picked her up and sways her in circles. "I'M GONNA BE A DAD!!". He's so happy that after he puts her down, he jumps around the chamber like a toddler.

20 minutes later....

He's sobbing.

He's sitting on the bed, crying his ass out on reader's lap, his arms wrapped around her waist again. Whispering, 'i'm gonna be a dad, we're gonna have a baby' over and over.

Not because he's finally realized what's happening and start to regret it. More like he's too happy, that his body couldnt handle the overwhelming feeling and it let it out through tears.

And reader is sitting beside him, wiping his tears and snot with a clothe napkin, and patting his back while doing so.
