2) First, the topics are different, but both are research posters. Also, It is dissimilar in some requirements like this one has abstract, backgrounds, methodology, results and conclusions and the requirements of us are introduction, results, conclusion and sources.
3) The purpose of the poster is to inform about the gap between Hispanics and white students and how lower rate of home internet contributes to the educational gap. On the other hand, the poster of my team and I, it is about the underrepresented rate of Hispanic in STEM fields.
4) The intended audiences for the poster are Hispanics, more specific to parents, students, and Hispanics related to educations that do not have a good access to internet. The issue of the topic clearly let you know that the intended audiences are Hispanics.
5) The credibility of the poster is established by the University of Texas at Austin. This establishes that the information is reliable.
6) The poster displays one image that make reference to diversity in a computer lab, also the poster use like 3 basic colors (Brown, orange and blue).
7) The logos of the poster present background information, statistics and the methodology gives credibility to the information.
1) The sample from UT Austin will be an excellent guide trough this group project. I plan to use the same format of the poster because the way that displays the information is easy to follow.
2) My outline has not changed that much at all, but I will use this analysis sample as a complement for my own.
