(link) Nervous about: Having severely reduced freedom after this semester. Procrastinating on: Putting my hot sauce back in the fridge. I’m actually super on top of things today. Working on: Demesne and Volitant. I got some really sweet comments these last few days and I really want to get the next chapters out. <3
#writer update#personal#Demesne#Volitant#one of my new textbooks is hilarious#it makes really weird similes#ie#Doing statistics is like eating a sausage.#No#just... no#It's really not.#On an exceptionally personal note#For those curious as to the real reason why I haven't updated Demesne and Volitant#I've been... disenchanted by them#Almost resentment#It's hard to explain#It has been difficult to post what is essentially a first draft of each chapter#yet I expect the quality to be of a certain caliber#I feel like nothing I do really matters#Which is BS and I know it#You guys have been so sweet and encouraging#The feeling has been consuming though#Which is why I hope that no one actually reads these tags#;)#I am actually quite excited for a chapter coming up in Demesne#I think that I just put myself in a position with the plots that I have to write filler#and I really /really/ don't like filler#But now there is plotish stuff in there (at least for Demesne)#Don't know what I'm going to do about Volitant#But I really do want to make you guys happy
