SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS (Martin McDonagh, CBS Films, 2012)
For all of its faults SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS (Martin McDonagh, CBS Films, 2012) actually was quite entertaining. I liked the narrative and particularly liked each and every one of the characters; that having much to with excellent casting and portrayals by each cast member. The dialogue to the film was crisp and often had a dry wit. I liked the way the narrative coalesced together, even though it was rather predictable at moments. Still there were some major holes in the narrative and when exactly did criminal culpability become a non issue in films? It truly is blatant escapism. This film was disconnected and scattered at times, some holes to the narrative but enough attachment from its stars as to make it enjoyable.
