Clooney's Angel Lucy Liu guest-starred in a 1995 episode of ER. Then, she and George Clooney were rumored to be dating. Then, an early version of the Charlie's Angels script from 1998 (written by Ryan Rowe and Ed Solomon) had George Clooney appearing in the film as himself. Alex Munday was actually dating the real George Clooney in the film! Something happened, and George was replaced by Matt LeBlanc as the fictional actor Jason Gibbons. The "Make a Charlie of yourselves" blurb says Cameron was playing Alex Munday...could this be another role switch (like Sabrina and Kelly)? The Rowe/Solomon script had a (mostly) different plot...involving supermodels. I will detail the plot of that script eventually.
