After overhearing Eren boasting about abusing Mikasa while out drinking, Levi decides he will no longer stand by and do nothing. During their fight, Eren threatens to titan shift.

Snippet from CHAPTER 7 (āBLOODSHEDā):
"You fucking bastard. I'll show you." Eren stared down at his hand. "I'll show you!"
Levi slowly rose to his feet and a trickle of blood ran down over his right eyelid. He welcomed the blood, welcomed the sting. The adrenaline and pain felt good, as familiar to him as slipping on a pair of broken-in combat boots.
Levi spat blood on the street. "If you want to turn, go ahead. Turn," he dared.
The moment Eren used his Titan powers against any of them willingly, he was done for. At that point, Levi was allowed to kill him. No exceptions.
Without blinking, Levi pulled his blades out and held them ready. He smirked when the glaring boy slowly raised his hand to his mouth. The kid was no match for him, neither on nor off the battlefield, and they both knew it.
If Eren wanted to die tonight as a titan then so be it.

((For some context: In the previous scene, Mikasa asked Levi if he still loved her, but, angry that sheād chosen Eren and left for the Military Police without saying good bye, he couldnāt answer her.))

He allowed himself to sound amused, "Did you really punch Eren?"
There was a pause before he felt her nod. "He backed me into a corner and tried to force himself on me again." Levi didn't like how casual she made it sound.
Hearing about Eren's attempt made him angry, but he felt proud of her. Mikasa had always felt helpless to refuse him before. Now, she could. Levi considered this progress.
"He said you never felt anything real for me."
Levi tensed. That fucker. Now that she was starting to stand up to him, Eren needed to whittle down Mikasa's self esteem in order to take advantage of her. He continued to walk and shifted her into a more stable position on his shoulder before he said, "I still love you."

Many of you are probably wondering how/why the heck Iām churning out so much art. (If you havenāt/donāt mind...youāre amazingly sweet and I love you) But itās because Iām using making rivamika fanart as a treat to reward myself for polishing a whole chapter for my main OC novel.
Iām in the final editing stage and itās really difficult to stay on task

This is my most recent fanart!
I'm really happy how this one turned out. Especially b/c I colored my lineart using a laptop touchpad hahaha (why do I do this!). My art style has kinda jumped around all over the place since I broke a 7 year hiatus and drew the first All but Forgotten Cover art. (It's the one where Levi is hugging mikasa with a forest background)
You can see there's big differences in the faces if you go through my art, but I think I've settle on a style I like now.
I recently rewatched old favorites (Ayashi no Ceres and Fushigi yuugi) so you'll see Yuu Watase influences my female faces a lot =D

I drew this RivaMika fanfic scene because who doesnāt love a angst-fest where you kiss someone while its raining?
Pretty much in this scene, the angst level is off the frigginā charts b/c Levi has been tolerating Eren mistreating Mikasa (taking her by force, even) because he canāt do anything about it. Not when Mikasaās willingly enslaved to her blind devotion to Eren.
So Levi forces himself to suppress his feelings about her and his need to protect her. However, he can only do that for so long...

Snippet From CHAPTER 8, called āDisclosureā:
The cup bounced, spilling tea on carpet and wood. She barely drank any of it going by the size of puddle.
Mikasa ignored it and went straight for the door. Had it been anyone else, Levi would have shook his head and knelt to clean the mess first, but his instinct pushed him to follow her.
He caught her arm at the door. "Mikasa." She didn't reply, only kept her face turned away from him towards the darkness outside.
"Mikasa." He pulled her back into the dim light of his apartment and was surprised to see she was crying. Tears glistened on her cheeks and as he watched, more kept coming. She moved to leave again but he shoved her against the door and pinned her there.
"Why are you crying?" He said. Levi's eyes darkened to the black hue of an angry sea. "Did Eren hurt you again?"
I'll fucking kill him.
