VEGAN UPDATE! 😂 Currently celebrating 19 years of never eating my companion animals or their secretions 😉🌱 In these 19 years of veganism I have saved: ⭐️ 7,628,500 gallons of water 💧 ⭐️ 277,400 lbs of grain 🌾 ⭐️ 208,050 sq ft of forest 🌳 ⭐️ 138,700 lbs of carbon dioxide 💨 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ almost 7,000 lives 🐮🐷🐰🐣 • On top of that, no human has to work in a slaughterhouse killing animals for me to eat. Nobody has to process dead animals’ body parts and package them up for me. • (Side note, my aunt did this for years and developed an addiction to pain killers to numb herself from what she saw every workday in the Tyson factory) • Nobody has to work in a butcher shop and see the lifeless faces of the animals attached to the bodies they have to chop up. 🔪🙈 Since first keeping meat off my plate after dissecting a frog in 1993, many people around me have made similar changes in their dietary habits that make the world a better place for animals. 🥰 • I vote with my dollars whenever I can because I believe it is one of the greatest forms of activism. ✊🏼💵 I give my money to companies that share my values along with using my ability to vote for government officials that can help make a safe place for animals in Brooklyn, in New York City, in the state of New York, and in the United States. 🇺🇸 • The biggest waves often start as ripples. Be the kind and subtle ripple that creates the change around you. 🌊 . . . #allanimalsareequal #veganforever #veganforeverything #longtermvegan #vegancalculator #savelives #savinglives #activism #equality #equalityforall #animalsarenotfood #veganism #whatveganslooklike #whatvegansdo #veganandproud #veganceliac #nonbinaryvegan #veganmusician #veganyogi #plantbased #govegan (at Brooklyn, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/BsdSg3dDFlK/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=10nj3gv014eq6
