My half white ass from germany can see that black people writing for black people ISN'T RACIST! Racism is a term that white people used to justifying slavery over black people. Any poc that reads fanfiction will tell you that they've read hundreds of fanfics where the reader was automatically described to have long flowy hair that you can run your hands through, pale skin, and blue eyes.
And now that I think about it, the way I got so happy when a writer would put s/c (skin color) down was sad. Of course they often made the mistake of saying "ran they're fingers through your hair" but there are ways you can to that w black ppl. (Silk presses, wigs, braids)
And youre correct, there is no such thing as racism towards white people. White people have always made themselves stand above everyone and belittled minorities. And the argument that European countries enslaved white people too is SO invalid its ridiculous. Egypt had black ppl enslaving black people, so like how European countries enslaved white people, it was based on social status. Poc were enslaved because white people felt that we were inferior due to our skin color.
And this one is going to make people mad, but im gonna say it anyways:
White people don't have culture.
Everything that they could call their culture was stolen from POC. Hence the idea of cultural appropriation. In which they LITERALLY steal pieces of the culture they shame us for.
