The rain was coming down in sheets, pelting the glass panes of Oberon’s small greenhouse as the king spent the stormy afternoon tending to his new plants.  His motions were smooth and precise - almost rhythmically in tune with the drumming of the water which fell from the sky.  As the Fae worked, he hummed softly - a tune created by a friend many centuries ago to honor the renewal symbolized by a cleansing rain.  For a moment he paused in his work, head tilting curiously to the side, thinking he’d heard footsteps outside.  The rhythm was what set the sound apart, but it was difficult to see outside due to the amount of rain.  Regardless. he listened carefully, but heard nothing else.  With a gentle shrug, Oberon returned to his gardening and his tune, assuming it had simply been an animal using his garden as a shortcut to escape from the furious storm.
