YES OH MY GOD OKAY SO

This ship (alienduo) had recently popped up in an smp I am in. It had started as a joke because we didn't have a Tubbo at the time and I wanted Ranboo in a romantic relationship. I was going to offer romantic allium duo, however our Tommy said he wasn't comfortable with it so that was shot down. Our Purpled said that he wanted to offer romantic golden duo (but again, Tommy said he wasn't comfortable). I then asked the Purpled jokingly if we wanted to do romantic alien duo. After some back and forth conversations, we decided to move forward with it.

BUT

This interaction wasn't my first taste of romantic alien duo. I used to be part of a pirates AU roleplay on discord and it was originally going to be romantic bench trio, however we had gotten a Purpled and Ranboo and Purpled were getting really close (they were best friends) and so we agreed to have them get together too.

Ever since that roleplay, I started finding enjoyment in the concept of Purpled and Ranboo being friends (in high school aus I would write, Purpled would be Ranboo's childhood best friend, but fell apart when Purpled moved and then BOOM Ranboo is now at Purpled's school and they're friends again), however I never saw anything about it so it started to die out.

... and then this SMP happened.

I do find the concept of them very cute and I've been getting into romantic bench trio + romantic golden duo (which then led to all four of them dating and living peacefully in my headcanons). Now, this is just focusing on Purpled and Ranboo being close and together and it's very cute.

Anyways, in my SMP, Purpled had visited Ranboo to confess his feelings for them - only for Ranboo to announce they're getting married and pregnant (we don't talk about that). Purpled then confessed and Ranboo gently let him down before asking him to be their best man at their wedding (they were originally planning on asking anyways). Purpled agreed even if he knows he can't be the one who Ranboo is marrying.
