Reebok ‘Alien Stompers’ for Alien Day 26th April 2019

As you may recall, the very first “Alien Day” saw the release of Reebok’s “Alien Stompers,” exact replicas of the futuristic shoes worn by Ripley and Bishop in James Cameron’s Aliens. For this year’s fourth annual “Alien Day,” they’re coming back!

Reported by Sole Collector, Reebok has whipped up a limited number of Stompers based on the mid-top shoes worn by Bishop in Aliens, which will go up for grabs for $180 from select retailers on “Alien Day,” April 26th.

The site details, “The shoe maintains its OG appearance with a cream leather upper, grey suede on the heel and strap, large midfoot strap, and red detailing. Reebok branding can be seen on the lateral and medial portion of the strap, ankle strap, and heel.”

The high-tops worn by Ripley have not been recreated this year.

I was lucky enough to score one of the only 426 pairs of Alien Stomper hightops that were released. It was a mixture of luck, being in the right city, being encouraged by Adam to go and get them, and down the the excellent people at Sneakerboy who not only put up with me badgering them on release day, but were amazing to give me the one Weyland-Yutani briefcase they were given! Thank you so much, you made my year!
