Every once in a while a random fandom appears on my dashboard and it just refuses to leave. And to be honest I usually just accept my fate and go with it.
Like, yeah, I have no idea who this green haired blorbo with pigtails is, but the fandom loves them with their yaoi obsession. And you know what? So do I.

Tumblr: THIS IS ALL YOU CARE ABOUT, RIGHT?
Hey spotify, you feeling okay there buddy?
Finally sat down and reorganised my playlist library, *actually* started putting together folders for 2025, and brought back the Emergency Earworms playlist.
Yes, I know, it's a mess. Kpop and metal and Europop. It's called "Emergency Earworms" for a reason.
But can you imagine my confusion when Spotify's recommendations ... for THIS playlist ... look like this:
How do you get algorithmic engagement on Tumblr bro. Everytime I post I feel like I'm screaming into the void. Is it cause I don't post fanart that often or what..
I want to get popular on Tumblr so bad because it's got a vibe I like, gayest social media platform I think

Tumblr is fun and all but it can get really annoying sometimes. Okay so, I follow, like, reblog, and/or comment on posts and blogs I like and appeal to me. As a result, tumblr offers me blog versions of synonyms. Then, out of nowhere, I mean, nobody is saying ANYTHING - it's perfectly quiet, I end up finding the blog version of a total ANTONYM of my interests and things I love.
In happy-land scrolling my dash and seeing Christian posts and blogs pop up and then the record scratches to a stop at the random pro-Satan post. Same thing as I'm a total Sonic fan and i run into the random Mario post on my dash. What. Wow, it feels like Facebook all over again!
i mean....., yeah
