Random Fact #6,390
Alexithymia is a condition where a person has difficulty identifying and describing oneâs own emotional experience.
Approximately 50% of autistic people have alexithymia, versus 5% in neurotypical populations.
Research also suggests that difficulty with eye contact is related to alexithymia, rather than autism.
