alexpower replied to your post: “………do you think……..people who like to argue that the Fantastic Four are weak……….know about Franklin Richards?”:
also it’s canon Sue can take out the Avengers by herself.
Yup. And she can take on Doom and the armies of Latveria singlehandedly. Take on Ben Grimm, Titania, Crusher Creel, and She-Hulk all at the same time and win. She’s good enough at hand-to-hand to give Danny Rand a run for his money. Reed’s said she’s stronger than Ben when she uses her force fields.
And Johnny’s Nova flame is roughly the equivalent of a nuclear bomb. Burns as hot as a supernova. Powerful enough to take out a small moon.
And if Ultimate Reed can wipe out 67 Earths singlehandedly, I’m guessing 616 Reed could do at least that much damage if he wanted to. People tend to assume Reed’s superpower is the stretchiness when it’s really the fact that he’s one of the smartest people in the universe. Like. The Council of Reeds was deemed a threat by the Celestials. They wouldn’t think that if Reed’s intelligence didn’t make him absurdly powerful.
And Ben’s one of the heaviest hitters in the Marvel Universe. Not as strong as the Hulk (he can grow infinitely strong), but he’s still pretty damn strong.
And Valeria, at three to four years of age, is at least as smart as her father, except that she also has her mother’s Machiavellian genius.
And Franklin, of course, as an adult is the most powerful being in the Marvel Universe. Powerful enough to take out three Celestials and make Galactus his herald.
But, sure, explain to me again how the Fantastic Four are weak.
The article I read has Dawson's rumored role listed as being Cecilia Reyes which I hope is true
Well that makes way more sense and i for once would be delighted that she’s leveled up from MCU nurse to XMCU trauma surgeon with powers. I’m still side eyeing that Sunspot rumour...
Scott: Hey Amadeus: No ass Scott: But I have personality Amadeus: Personality can’t clap Scott: No, it can’t…
With Johnny soon to be no longer affiliated with the Inhumans and Ben likewise no longer being on the Guardians line-up, do you think they'll finally interact again and we'll find out why their feuding? I just want to know how they reacted to waking up one day to seeing Sue, Reed, and all the kids being MIA
I hope so because I am just so desperate to know WHY and the longer Marvel goes without telling us the more I’m like, I know Johnny and Ben didn’t get drunk and sleep together, but there is literally no evidence Johnny and Ben didn’t get drunk and sleep together. All I’m saying is that Ben didn’t even avoid Johnny this hard when he thought Johnny was marrying the love of his life, so, like, WHAT IS IT. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE THIS DRAMATIC. In all seriousness, the past few weeks of comics have felt like they were actually building towards Something on that front, but who knows honestly. (Marvel. Hopefully Marvel.)
Flashbacks would be. A lot. I’d like warning if there were flashbacks to when they realized Reed and Sue and the kids were gone, so I can go and buy a case of wine.

A Power Pack mini series got announced & Alex is back to being a twink
twink rights!
alexpower replied to your post “I know everybody's age in comics is vague, but do we have any idea...”
Alex being 30 while his siblings are still teens (Julie is ambiguously somewhere between 16-18 if I recall) seems really odd even if power pack doesn’t have an ongoing. I’m 100% expecting some weird reason to be introduced to establish he’s still like 19. The easiest being his Kymellian genes.
Regardless of how old Alex looks, he is still thirty years old. I mean. Ten years passed for him, ten years did not pass for all of his siblings.
I hate the HUGE ten-year timeskip for a lot of reasons, and, yes, this is one of them. But until or unless everyone who was with Reed and Sue gets magically deaged (which seems VERY unlikely, at least as long as Slott is on the book)...Alex is just thirty now.
(I do think it's kinda ironic that Reed and Ben were so much older than Sue for a while, and now Sue and Reed are about 8 years older than Ben and they probably look more than 20 years older than him, since he doesn't age. Oh, how the tables have turned.)
I really don't see why the timeskip had to be ten years. I was expecting three to four years at most. Ten just seems excessive.
I mean. I was really looking forward to Franklin being a teenager, and now he's just 22, so like. There went that.
#180. Reed + Your Pick
I went with a combination of Ben and Johnny. The boys getting up to shenanigans. They’re so fun to write together!
***
“We are dead,” Johnny says as he stares down ruefully at the vase Reed knows is Sue’s favorite. Was her favorite. It’s the one her mother gave her. Right before the car accident that she died in. When Sue told Reed the story, she cried. And now the vase is lying, shattered, on the floor. “We are so dead.”
“Whaddya mean ‘we,’ squirt?” Ben scoffs. “You were the one who decided ta put a lizard down my shorts. This is your fault.”
“I put the lizard down your shorts because you put a snake in my bed!” Johnny retorts. “A whole live snake! The poisonous kind!”
“It wasn’t poisonous, I checked,” Ben says dismissively.
“Oh, you checked, did you?” Johnny challenges. “How? We all know you can’t read!”
“I can so read—I went ta college and graduated and everything, unlike some people in this room,” Ben snaps.
Johnny stiffens and his face flushes with anger. Everyone knows Johnny’s lack of a college degree is a sore subject.
“Besides, I asked Stretch!” Ben continues, jerking a thumb at Reed, whose head has been cradled in his hands ever since Ben knocked over that vase. “He said it was fine. He even helped me get it from the zoo!”
“You what?!” Johnny says. He turns to Reed, wounded. “You helped him with his prank, but not me? I thought I was your favorite!”
Reed’s mouth works as he casts about for an appropriate answer. “You didn’t ask,” he settles on. “Besides, Benjamin made it seem as though you had rather been picking on him lately, and that his retaliation was wholly justified.”
