My questions from @heartofmuse:
1. What is the most annoying habit that other people have? Chewing loudly, especially when talking on the phone.
2. What’s your favorite drink? Thai Iced Tea.
3. What shows are you into? Not a big fan of TV and don't have much more than Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Sling. That said, I like "The Newsroom," "The Sopranos," "Breaking Bad," "Poldark," "The Handmaid's Tale," "The Alienist." There are a few more, but these are the current crop.
4. What is one of your favorite smells? The top of a tiny kitten's head.
5. What was the most memorable gift you’ve received? A first-generation Kindle, the first I ever owned. I still have it, though I've bought and/or received other, fancier ones since.
6.What makes a good life? Work that you love; friends and family, whether chosen or homemade; enough money to pay bills, have necessities, and some of the luxuries in life; a partner who loves you, who you love, who has your back; pets; a good sense of humor and people who appreciate it.
7.What are you addicted to? As I work with people with serious addictions, I don't take this question lightly. My worst addiction was probably to cigarettes. I am clean now for about 29 years, after a protracted struggle and many relapses. My worst active addiction is screens. Electronics. I spend much too much time staring at my cell phone or tablet or laptop or desktop to the point where it interferes with other activities.
8. What was the best compliment you’ve received? Recently a fearful person I know, who I adore, told me they trust me. And made eye contact. And meant it.
9. What one thing do you really want but can’t afford? Travel outside the country.
10. Where is the most interesting place you’ve been? I'm always interested in everyplace I go. It's hard to quantify. I enjoyed wandering around Tijuana with a homeless drunk for a day. Venice Beach used to be interesting, but they've cleaned it up. Lots of places, actually. I loved the New York World's Fair in the sixties, and the Toronto Expo soon afterward. Lots of places.
My Questions:
1. How far have you traveled away from the place where you were born?
2. If you were 100% sure you would never have your dream career, what would be your second choice?
3. Do you enjoy black and white movies, or must you have color? Likewise, foreign films with subtitles, or only dubbed?
4. Are you a picky or adventurous eater?
5. Are you superstitious? If so, about what?
6. What is the very first thing you remember wanting to be when you grew up? Are you that, and if not, how far off from it?
7. Do you know how to cook, and if so, do you enjoy it? If you don't know how, who cooks for you?
8. What is the best thing about being exactly who you are right now? The worst?
9. How old were you when you began to realize that many of the things you were taught were incomplete, innacurate, or outright lies?
10. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
11. What would be the top of every gratitude list, if you used gratitude lists?
