What I DO KNOW is that she and Juniper’s strained relationship is in part due to Juniper being heavily religious and Rain being firmly atheistic.

Hello everybody! This is the official blog for our original web series, Alexander! We have a large cast and crew and are excited to share more about our production on here. We heavily encourage you ask ask questions, both to the characters and us working on the show! The show itself was thought up of and mainly produced by Charlie, and Vi is the second in command, essentially. They both do a lot of the work, both behind the scenes and not. This account is run by me, Jack! I like to think I help a lot too, and function almost as an unofficial third in command. I don’t plan on running this very formally, forewarning.
What is Alexander about, specifically?
Alexander is about a small husky puppy finding an escape from his abusive family and learning to love and be loved. Maybe he solves a mystery or two along the way, but who’s to say? He meets a wide range of characters who all help (and hinder) him on his journey. I can’t say must at this time, as I don’t want to spoil to much just yet, but there’s a lot in store. I have really low self control and I’ll probably post a lot of spoilers
Who are the characters?
We’ll likely be working on a “meet the character” sort of thing for a lot of them! They’ll be linked here as we make them.
FAQ-
No questions have been asked yet, but I’ll add to it as I see fit.
When is Alexander coming out?
We don’t know! Soon, hopefully. The pilot is in production, with the script nearly done. This is a passion project, and most of our crew is not completely 100% dedicated to this show 24/7, we all have lives outside of it, but we’re all working on it, and production is chugging along.
Hi Alexander! How are you and your siblings doing?
Well Star and Thunder seem to be having fun! I think I should be a little worried for Alexander, though…
What kind of representation is there?
A lot! We have sexuality and gender representation, as well as (mental and physical) disabilities. All the characters are animals, so it’s a little harder to depict characters of different races or ethnicities, but we do try and do have representation of different races as well!
What’s the main character like?
There’s a few! I’ll go all of them a little vaguely here, because we’re planning a “Meet the characters” thing (and also spoilers), but I’ll give you the basics!
Alexander is obviously the MAIN main character. He’s a fragile little husky puppy who grew up in an awful family that pretty much hated his guts and blamed him for their dad leaving. He’s very nervous and shy, a very timid little boy. Tragedy seems to follow him around, and he has a very hard time accepting that he has anyone he can rely on or trust. He has trouble believing any affection towards him is genuine.
Lion is the second most important main character. She grew up in Apollo’s pack, though she doesn’t seem to have particularly close connections to any of her packmates. She has FRIENDS, kind of, but no one she’s really that close to. She really cares about Alexander, and is determined to make sure he is safe and sound and feeling and he belongs within their pack.
Rain is less connected with the others. She’s aloof and spiteful for reasons the rest of the pack doesn’t understand. She’s found solace in Bramble’s company and doesn’t seem to care much about anyone else. She doesn’t like when Bramble cares about anyone else either. Something’s off about Rain, undeniably, but what?
Bramble is Rain’s very loving girlfriend. She’s obsessive and insanely dependent on her. The two spend most of their time together. Bramble maintains pleasant but surface-level friendships with the rest of Apollo’s pack. She’s well liked enough but would never get vulnerable with any of them. Rain keeps her company better than any of them could.
Apollo is the fifth and final main character! He runs the pack all of our main characters live in! He’s gruff and standoffish, and doesn’t particularly enjoy playing nice with other people. Beneath his prickly surface, though, he’s a soft hearted individual who cares deeply for his pack and all its members. He’s asocial and has always found it hard to empathize with and grow close to others, but he doesn’t like seeing others hurt.

Does Alexander tackle heavy themes? What would the show be rated?
Alexander will indeed be tackling heavy themes. This will range from depression, abuse, death, gore and violence, assault, and things such as that. Some of which are not shown graphically, but all of which are important to the story in their own rights. I personally don’t believe the show will be triggering, although I cannot speak for everyone. Those topics will not be handled very frequently on this blog (and always with proper warnings)
The show would probably be rated PG-13/Tv-14. Maybe R, just due the amount of violence? But it is all cartoon and not very descriptive. Thanks for the ask!
