Alex used to be a senior lead character designer at Riot Games/EA before they started dabbling in the stupidity of AI. Alex still designs video game characters - just not for them.

So he didn't just party crash. He was invited.

Alex recommended Taliesin for Blitzcrank in League of Legends apparently. Scheduling conflicts. He got to eventually voice Blitzcrank in a KO style game, which Alex designed characters for. However, it never ended up hitting shelves. There was art and video promo for it.
