this is so stupid i love it. it looks not great because i really needed to get this out of my head. it could have gone a few different ways (molly wishing a bus on beau, fjord saying break a leg, you know) but i settled on this one because it just is too funny.

He had reached out, asking if he could try an amplifier in their existing lineup, but Victory wanted to build him an amp that was entirely accessible.

They released a statement that said:

“We researched accessibility in musical equipment and were shocked by how little existed – especially in guitar amplification. So, we learned braille standards, spacing rules and dot heights, developed a custom embossing process, and rebuilt the front and rear panels of the Duchess MKII V40 so every control could be understood by touch alone – without compromising tone, feel or design.”

They sent the customised amplifier to Anthony, along with a letter in braille that explained what they had done.

Yesterday they announced that braille panel options will be available to everyone at no extra cost. They will also be donating a portion of each sale to a “UK registered blind charity chosen by Anthony.”
