I love how you're still tracking this. But don't your feet get cold?
I mean, the short answer is yes, my feet do get cold, but also no, not really, because it’s warm enough on the carpet at this time of year...
I have a bit of a weird relationship with socks, because I love to have bare feet but I also don’t massively enjoy having cold feet and I can’t sleep with cold feet (...I love a bedsock, me...) - and sometimes I just get to the point in the evening where I’m like “no, I can’t wear socks any more today” in pretty much the same way many of us do with our bras.
And I generally find it easier to focus when my body temperature is slightly lower, which is why I take off my cardigan at work when I’m tired and why I like to write without socks in the evenings.
It’s pretty much established at work now that people won’t ask me “is it hot/cold in here or is it just me?” because I have no idea. I get hot, I get cold, but it has no relation to what the actual temperature is in the room because my personal thermostat is out of sync.
