[ she bounces down the steps and out of the radio station, pausing for a moment when she sees someone looking at the scattering of random knick-knacks left as tribute to tobias by the bottom of the steps beneath the window. she walks up to them, pursing her lips a little bit hesitantly ] Did you know--? [ she stops when she recognizes alecto ] Oh. S-Sorry, I can totally leave-- you alone. 

She was due to have her first proper visitor since the wake and Maya would be nervous if nervous was something she could become. She’d had the elves gather the few things of value and bring them to the drawing room, and now Maya waited, the black mourning veil she hadn’t touched in a week now draped over her face again. When Alecto enters the room, Maya rises, doing her best to keep her voice low.
