day six + seven || draw the most emotional death + draw your favorite dead cat

Mousepaw likes Skywhisker! One of her first official friends, at least outside her siblings. You’d think they wouldn’t get along considering how different they are, but they bonded over being the quiet kids, and were able to just enjoy each others company. He’s very mature and intelligent, which can at times clash with her attitude, but its something she generally doesn’t mind. She likes that they both have difficulties showing their emotions, and finds his at times awkward demeanor amusing. She used to have a small crush on him when they were younger, just because he was that older, cooler kid that thought it was fun to hang out with her, but that died out a long time ago. Now he’s just her friend, someone she can trust, even if she doesn’t always show it. 

Now, Alderleap. You’re about to open a whole can of beans with this one. I won’t say she was super close with her mother, but she was definitely closer than the rest of her siblings. She was a comforting presence, and she was always someone to lean on if things got overwhelming or tough. She did love her mother, and of course wished she would’ve survived, but a large part of her was mostly relieved when she finally died, and wasn’t in pain anymore. Alderleaps sickness was an extremely scary part of her life, one she won’t easily forget, and one that played a huge part in shaping her into the cat she is today.
