Tumbling Cacti Praia dos Aveiros Albufeira, Portugal The vegetation in Portugal seemed to be a cross between plants found here in the U.S. in California, Arizona and even a few similar to those in the Pacific Northwest, depending on what part of Portugal we visited. Here at Praia dos Aveiros in Albufeira, the vegetation was decidedly a mix of tropical and desert, with some really interesting trees.
