Today’s Breyer horse is: #712310 “Cepheus” on the stablemates Alborozo mold sculpted by Brigitte Eberl. Part of the 2019 Web Special Starry Skies Blind Bags and was a run of 750.

It’s Toy Time Tuesday! With...Breyer Unicorn Crazy Surprise Wave 4 Alborozo! Wave 4 came out pretty quickly after wave 3, and with it, another of this albrozo type unicorn. This time, he’s in white and...kind of a blue/silver? It’s a cool-gray, maybe. The hair is just ‘sprayed this same color, but a bit less’, so it looks white. With silver hooves & horn, the nose is the darkest part. He is fine. It’s a wintery look, with the pearly coating over the paint, and white ankles. However, he’s not particularly remarkable either. Hair about the same as the body and a fairly monochrome style, he’s good but not super interesting or coming across as a real character. It’s fine though, because at about 3 dollars at Walmart, he’s a unicorn everyone can own.

Today’s Breyer horse is: #6047 on the stablemates Alborozo mold. Ran 2019-2020 as the mystery horse surprise series 2 chase.

It’s Toy Time Tuesday! With...Breyer Alborozo Red Unicorn! This is another from the Stablemates size Unicorn Crazy Surprise Bags. He is a great, really red color. Usually fantasy toys don’t venture into the super bright red, but really, this one looks great in it. He has short white fade sock markings and a slightly silver tip to the tail. The horn is a matching silver. This is a nice change of pace, as usually red is paired with gold. The pose is taken from their Traditionals size (big) one, with some simplification going on (no bangs, hair a bit different) so he’s not an exact clone. The darker red for the hair is nice also. You can notice he has an interference glaze going on (the sheen you see there is not quite white) which gives a sort of pearlized/fantasy glow to it that’s very fun. With an unusual fantasy color, bold look, good sculpted hair & cool color choices this is a great one to collect. Plus, this size is usually pretty inexpensive too.
