this fall i ran in a 5k race for the first time since high school and i flopped. however i flopped in a beautiful setting and was proud of myself for the big step outside my comfort zone so i want to try again (and maybe also a 10k)

21. What’s something new about your place of residence (room, home, or general location) now vs the start of the year?

issy you’re making me laugh with this one… pour one out for our old broken stove, which the slumlord landlords left sitting in front of our door for about 2 months before they disposed of it. it’s nice how nowadays we can fit into and out of our apartment easily

14. what are some places where you feel most at home? my grandmother's house!! my grandparents built the house in the 70's so i've literally never known a time when that house wasn't a big part of my life. and i've spent a BIG part of my childhood/life there.

and funnily enough, i would also say my apartment but. for multiple reasons? see. partly 'cause it's my apartment. it's the place i've made into a home. BUT. also, my aunt owns the apartment, she used to live here and she lived here since i was an entire one year old. and i used to have sleepovers here a ton when i was a kid. so i feel like i kind of cheated my way into feeling at home here a lot quicker than i would have if i moved into a random apartment.

and it's not gonna be around in the family for much longer 'cause she's selling it but. my mom's house!! i lived there for 19 years so it will always feel like home.

15. do you have any houseplants? do any of them have names? nope. BIG nope. i (mostly) kill everything i touch 😅😭 BUT. i have MANY MANY lego flowers. do they count?

23. which songs do you like to sing in the shower? i am a BIG believer of singing in the shower. it just makes the day better INSTANTLY. my go to songs are usually musicals, or songs from my childhood but honestly? any song that FEELS good to belt out usually makes the cut.
