"Hey there, old timer."

Alan doesn't have to look to know who's just slipped into the bedroom through the window. He still makes a point of turning, telling himself it's just his age the thing making his knees feel a little unsteady.

There, still covered in a soft green glow, stands Hal, looking only worse for wear. Knowing the man, this is nothing considering how bad things often go for him. At least he's still in one piece, not holding his guts in place and not actively bleeding out. Alan has chewed him out enough times over that for Hal to learn his lesson, it seems.

Still, out of caution, he asks: "Do you need bandages?"

Hal snorts, depowering his ring before taking a couple of steps further into the room. "Promise I'm all good this time," he even offers a smile in that charming way of his that makes Alan feel thirty years younger. "Only a little singed."

Alan frowns, taking the final steps to get them closer, and he grabs Hal's face by the chin, lifting it up to then turn his head left to right. Hal's in an easygoing mood. That's sometimes a good sign.

"You'd be much better here. With me." When Hal lifts an eyebrow, he quickly adds, "And the other members of the Justice Society. We would take good care of you."

"We, huh?" Hal laughs, casually placing his hands on Alan's hips. "And I suppose the other members would also want me to kiss them."
