“....It shouldn’t of been this way.” he quietly muttered, firing one last arrow to put her out of her pain.

When the lady answered the door, Luxanna’s arms were crossed over herself, rubbing her arms, trying to keep warm. “H-Hello, you don’t mind if I... I come in d-do I?”  There was a small laugh that followed, an uneasy smile planted on her lips.

She reached up, pale digit pressing against black frames, gently nudging the thick frames back up the edge of her nose. It was a quiet day, but they were all quiet days for her. She spent every day here, working at her little bookstore-- she didn’t have a huge client list, but there were enough regular to keep the place afloat and food in her mouth. She dusted, daily, sorted the shelves; spent her time trying to organize everything into it’s proper place. It wasn’t an well paying job-- but it was a job that made her happy.  The small chime sound near the door, ringing against the quiet murmur of the few patrons milling about. Her head lifts from the shelf she had been organizing, settling a few art texts back into their proper places when she hears the ring, the soft pat of steps. A smile flickers to her face, a bright sort of thing, fingers sliding up to push her hair back out of her face. It’s a little messy, but not impolite. A little breath escapes, and she offers a soft wave. “Hi, welcome, can I help you?”
