Vivi Nefeltari couldn’t help a giggle at the look on Kohza’s face, right then. Really, she shouldn’t laugh… After all, her best friend hadn’t been all that keen on learning about the rest of the world when they were still young. But… Well, it was snow!

At the moment, the former rebellion leader was ankle-deep in the fluffy white stuff, and he looked like a small child during their first birthday party. He was marveling at the fat, wet flakes landing on his jacket, squinting, and trying to make out the delicate little patterns before they could melt away. It was honestly comical, yet so very endearing.

“They all really have different patterns, Vi?!!” Kohza muttered, poking at the large, wet flakes currently on his arm. “It’s so cold! And it must get even colder at night! How do people live on islands like this?!”

“Would you believe me if I said this is only a light snow?” Alright, Vivi more than giggled at the slack-jawed expression on the man’s face.

She always knew what she wanted. No one had ever been able to dissuade her once she decided what she wanted. They could change her paths a little, sure, as long as they could convince the princess that it would lead her more smoothly to her goal, but she would do whatever it took to reach then end she wanted. And although her duty was to her people, first…. She had a second family to tend to.

And right now, this seemed to be the best option for both.

Germa was…. A problem. A definite problem for both her people and her friends. She’d seen the resemblance the moment she had been introduced to the trio of princes. The eyebrows, the shapes of their faces…. Even their names and the missing spot in the pattern. No one had to tell her who they were, who Sanji was. But they were nothing like the cook. Nothing it all. It was no wonder to Vivi why he had gone a separate path.

Perhaps, though, getting close to one of them…. Perhaps it would benefit everyone. Niji was, well… at least to start, he was the least aggravating. They all had that habit of going head over heels for a nice looking woman, but Yonji was abrasively brutish and loud, and Ichji was annoying to talk with because of his complete ignorance and lack of interest into politics. Niji… Niji was the most tolerable of the three. He was quiet, and reserved, and certainly nothing like Sanji, but… But perhaps she could accept some of this. For peace’s sake.
