A Reason Why
Iām sorry if you are hurting right now. Iām sorry if you feel like everyone has turned their backs on you right now. Iām sorry if it feels like thereās no hope left. I wish I could give you a hug and look you in the eye to tell you that everything will be okay. I canāt do that, but I sincerely hope this little spur of the moment post will help those of you out there who are hurting all by yourself.Ā
Thereās a reason why youāre going through what you are going through right now. You may be frustrated, hurt, lonely, anxious, and just utterly broken down inside, but please hold onto faith and believe that thereās a reason for everything that happens in the world.Ā As cliche as it sounds, we grow the most from pain and whatever hardships life throws at us. Our skin grows thicker, our hearts a little harder, and our souls a little more defiant the next time we hit a bump in the road.Ā
Your pain may seem like yours to bear alone right now, but I wish from the bottom of my heart that you donāt let that pain go to waste. Behind that well put together facade every single one of us is hurting, and I hope you have the courage and the wisdom to help someone out there who is hurting just as much as you were.Ā

Are You Okay?
Are you okay? No really, are you okay? Every day we are asked how we are, but out of those times how many times have we answered honestly? Probably very few.Ā
Personally, I know Iāve only answered honestly to that question once, and that was because in the few hours I got out of bed I managed to spill water on my laptop, lost all the files to an essay I rewrote for the third time, didnāt ace an interview I worked three years for, and argued with close family. That was the only time I flat out told someone, no, I am most certainly not okay.Ā
Itās okay to not be okay. Weāre humans, not machines (actually even machines are sometimes not okay either, especially at the worst times possible). There will be okay days, and some not so okay ones as well. I just hope you are able to recognize when you are not okay, and go easy on yourself.Ā
Even if itās not okay now, itās okay. It will be okay someday. :)
Just a little of peaceful beauty back from a recent trip to San Francisco. I hope everyone has a beautiful day, and no matter what happens today, remember that each day is a wonderful fresh start!
