If I had a nickel for every time I was canon-divergent because time went wonky for reasons unknown and I got a do-over on the worst day of my life after having witnessed the entire fallout of said worst day of my life (in which I made multiple, multiple mistakes and hurt people I loved), I'd have two nickels, and what the fuck are the odds on that one... Even funnier, it makes total sense within one canon (which involves a multiverse so I'm technically not even properly canon-divergent, just a not-strictly-canon iteration) and none at all in the other (the way time operates in that world isn't strictly defined, but it definitely doesn't involve getting a do-over, and the way it happened was super weird, but that whole world was odd and had odd magic that worked in strange ways). Anyway, uh, to my siblings in both lives... I am sorry for when I screwed up. I don't have any excuses, I should've known better. I'm glad I got to fix my mistakes.
