My favorite Tolkien characters are all of them, that being said.
Maedhros my boy, had to take care of six lil bros and was the only one with a brain cell (arguably maglor and curufin shared it sometimes but.) and then he was the only one who was like. Hold up we shouldn't burn these ships, what a sweetie. And him and finno ahhh! Also, angst. So much angst. Sigh. Idk he just seems the most.. reasonable? Redeemable? Even though he did go after the silmarils at the end, and did a bunch of kinslays ._. I just love him a lot
