VIDEO: Aircrafting - Tides

In New York City, you don’t need to look too far to come up with an idea for a cool video, often the good is obvious and only a subway ride away. And so, Brooklyn indie-rockers Aircrafting set out to visualize their new single “Tides” at the Coney Island boardwalk, tinting everything in moody black and white and voila! out comes an atmospheric end-of-summer video. The visuals wouldn’t be as interesting though, was it not for the infectious “Tides” that comes with a decisive lo-fi style, a certain wistfulness and an overall dreamy, somewhat early 70s vibe.

Aircrafting played just before Nightdogs at Coco66 and while I couldn't really get a gauge on what I thought about it, I suppose it didn't matter too much because they had a kind of temporary setup of guitar, keys and bass along with the drums. The FB profile bills them as "sometimes the solo project of jon tehel"

Have not actually seen them/seen them on a bill since but they were memorable enough for me to include here after 2 months so...

The number of shows I've seen this summer is incredible. The number of posts I've written is way less than that so here's a picture of my boyfriend asleep after letting/making me paint his nails.
