We laughed, cried, sweat and supported each other in a weekend filled with growth and shifting. I'm proud to have worked with this awesome group of Les Mills Instructors. #AIM2 #lesmills #reebok #chaseyourbetter (at Raritan Bay Area YMCA)

Winning in failing
I just failed to post a diary every Friday LOL. But trust me it's for a good reason. So last week started slowly because I was trying to get as much rest as I could before my AIM 2 training. So, I'm sorry but this diary is just going to be on my training because there's just so much to tell for 2 days than for the whole week
Training was on the weekend (14-15 Feb), yes on V-Day, which does not mean a lot for me because I'm freaking single.
14/2 Saturday: 14 people (8 attackers and 6 combatters) with Nathan as our trainer started the training with some contents and then we got our tracks to present on the first and second day. The people were so lovely, talented, determined and just amazing instructors. I got track 6 and 8 from BC 62. We got feedback from our first presentation and then went through the content and then 2nd presentation. DISCLAIMER (I don't want to go through the feedback and content of the training because I feel like they were personal and for the content, you can get it when you attend the training :)) Honestly, everybody already improved so much from the 1st presentation. I could already see that this training was awesome. It does feel weird because it changes the way you teach, but it was for the better. After that, we went home and prepare for the next and final day.
I was so focused on the training that I didn't check on my social media as much as usual (I even told my mum I couldn't talk to her, sorry mum). Anyway, it was all prep for me for the 2nd day, the big day.
15/2 Sunday: We started the day with a game, combatters VS attackers, it was very fun (I like games :p) After that we went to our 3rd presentation with the new track and gather around for the feedback and went through the content for 2nd day. The feedback and content were simply mindblowing and I am still thinking about it until now. It is just a pure genius, you just have to trust the process. 4th and final presentation, the attackers went first. I just couldn't believe the progress that we have made after 2 days, I feel like we were watching different people on the stage. I was planning to retain myself from exercising too hard and saving my energy for my presentation, but honestly, they were just so good that I failed and just busted my ass for some tracks. They were just that good. The bad thing is that because the attackers went first, my nerve was just building up. I can hear my heartbeat, I feel butterflies in my stomach, I was banging my head, nervously beating my own hands, and more weird things. Finally the attackers were all done and they had a little group feedback from Nate and our time was up, we did this little circle and told ourselves, "keep it real, and stay with the fight". I was very very nervous that I forgot some choreo from the other tracks (trivia: I can still remember how nervous I was that writing this get me nervous again). Anyhow, I went there, on the stage. I told myself, "this is it, you gotta do it, you gotta do your best". And I went, some part of the presentation felt so surreal for me that I don't know where did that came from. At the end of the track I was so relieved and tired, I felt like a huge weight was just lifted from my shoulder. We hugged each other. At that moment I really feel the bond, the connection, as a tribe, as a family, the Les Mills family. After some more tracks, we officially finished our 4th and final presentation, we officially came to the end of our AIM2 journey. The results were handed by Nathan and we took a group photos and went home.
I am so lucky to meet these amazing people, amazing instructors and amazing coaches. Big big thanks to Nathan and everybody for the best Valentine day I have ever had and also for the unforgettable weekend.
