AiGin gif moodboard I made for X
Title: Illusory Warmth - Part 1
The size of the high-back sofa was simply absurd; calling it huge would be an understatement. The massive piece of furniture seemed large enough to hold all ten of the Espada, but it was reserved for a single man.
With his hands hidden neatly beneath his long sleeves â a habit he had learned very early on â Gin strolled nonchalantly toward the sofa, observing his captain through the narrow slits of his half-lidded eyes.
His heels barely made a sound despite the slippery, glossy tiles. Yet another habit he had mastered as a child. Moving quietly, like a snake, was a useful skill for both survival and hunting.
Aizen hadnât so much heard him approaching as noticed his familiar, unsettling aura. Not that Gin had planned to sneak up on him. No, nothing like that. He simply didnât mean to disturb his dear captain when the man was in one of his⊠moods.
Sitting alone on his oversized sofa in a spacious room, Aizen looked somewhat small.
No, small wasnât the right word for it.
He looked⊠simple. Uncomplicated. Perhaps even human.
If he hadnât known better, Gin would have assumed Aizen was openly bored. But no, that wasnât the case. He had observed this man for over a century, and he could tell exactly what his captain was doing.
He was deep in his thoughts, debating with himself. Surely, there had to be an inner monologue, or perhaps even an internal dialogue, unfolding beneath that stoic exterior.
Ginâs lips twisted in a disturbing smile. He said nothing at all and instead tried to imagine Aizenâs way of thinking.
Was his captain reviewing his battle strategy, looking for loopholes? Or was he imagining his encounter with Kisuke Urahara?
Gin wished he knew.

đ§Ł, đ¶, 𧳠- aigin :3
Ohhhhh thank you for the ask. Ask game is here.
𧣠Who steals the otherâs scarf / gloves âon accidentâ every winter?
Gin is the freeze baby. Aizen runs hot.
Especially when Gin's a lieutenant, he'll see that nice scarf his captain is wearing and steal it on a chilly winter morning. It's a little over sized (Aizen had it custom made for himself afterall) but Aizen likes seeing his lieutenant proudly wearing his "stolen prize".
Aizen also has Gin pick out a custom kotatsu for his quarters in the Fifth Division (they threw away Shinji Hirako's stuff)- a rich magohany top and emerald cloth with pine needle print. Aizen loves to dote on Gin in little ways like that and Gin (selfishly) eats up the attention. It is funny though when they sleep together, Gin has a habit of putting his cold feet on Aizen to warm up- trying to get a reaction out of Aizen.
It just turns Aizen on tbh.
đ¶ Whatâs their song - the one that makes them both tear up / grin like idiots?
I don't have one... but let me explain!
I HC Aizen and Gin have such drastically different tastes in music all because of Shinji Hirako. Aizen is a man of classical, especially Japanese traditional music. It puts him at ease. He used to love when Shinji played European music on the phonograph or gramophone (I would argue Shinji could have possessed either). But as the 1900's roll around Shinji's tastes change to something more modern- Ragtime and early-Blues. Gin grows to love Jazz, early Rock and later Hip-Hop beats. Something modern, fun, you can tap your feet to it but feel the soul in it too. So, he and Aizen tend to bicker over music a lot. Who did what when, who composed what first. Perhaps they come together sometimes dragging out Shinji's old music player and sit in silence with a sense of nostalgia. Do they hate Shinji? No. He just didn't fit into the plans. Each man liked Shinji to a degree, each man misses a moment with their former captain.
𧳠If they had to run away together tomorrow, where would they go?
Hueco Mundo duhh. /jkjk.
Time for my to divulge my shameless Modern AU. I have a feeling no matter the lifetime Aizen and Gin love to travel together, I always wanted to HC Aizen obtains gigai to take Gin to the human world and they get special permission to travel around in canon-verse oh yes...
Anyways, Modern-AU. Aizen and Gin are that couple, the ones that travel all the time, barely at home because they're in Venice one week and Bangkok the next. (Did I also mention in this AU they're serial killers? No lies between them this time, just two bad men who love eachother and love fucking next to dead bodies.) Aizen tends to pick beautiful places to travel to, full of architecture and history. Moscow, Constantinople, New York. Gin on the other hand? Well he's funny.
He once planned out a vacation to Yosemite national park and people might think "Oh nature and wildlife, how lovely!" but that sulfuric smell is atrocious, especially to Aizen, who hates eggs. Aizen spent the entire trip gagging and Gin stood need to a Bison laughing.
I picture in my head though them traveling through the United States Southwest in a convertible, sleeping fucking and killing in cheap hotel rooms. Ugh! Yes! I don't think there is ONE place for them though... at the end of the day their favorite place is eachother.

ship headcanon questions:
For AiGin: đł , đ„, đȘïž
For GinZuru: đ§©, đ
+ I know this is not your usual ship, but since you've written for this ship in the past too, I thought I'd still ask (you don't have to answer it if you have nothing, but I thought it's a funny ask so...)đ· for UraAi, pls?
Thank you for asking~~~~ Ask game is here
Aizen/Gin
đł Whatâs the most embarrassing thing theyâve walked in on the other doing?
Gin has walked in on Aizen talking to himself- the man really cannot shut up! Whole blown conversations with the man in the mirror. Gin has debated it over with himself so many times whether or not to just stab Aizen to shut him up or go along with it. Sometimes the topic is interesting enough to listen to so he'll keep Shinso sheathed... for now.
I am sure Aizen has walked in on Gin multiple times- each one more purposeful than the last. One time using the bathroom, another time changing, maybe masturbating once or twice. Aizen pretends he didn't know but him and Gin know better, it's all apart of the man's plan afterall. He needs to keep Gin on his toes! And maybe Aizen has a weird vouyerism fetish...
đ„ Whatâs the biggest risk one of them took for the other that the partner didnât find out about until much later?
I like to think Gin has always "protected" Aizen in his own way. He'll always twist the narrative to keep people suspecting him, not Aizen. He'll kill even the most devoted of Aizen's followers when he thinks they'll snitch. He'll twist words and play mind games with people whenever they think something is just so off about Captain Aizen- Gin is always in the shadows. Waiting, watching, keeping an eye out for anyone who might try and ruin the game him and Aizen play. I have always wanted to HC that Urahara approached Gin as a child, in all his gangly and intelligent awkwardness, asking the Third Seat about the Fifth's Lieutenant. Gin even as a child is a good liar, good at playing the game, he's learning from Aizen afterall. Urahara tries to approach Gin with sweet candies and soft words, concerned for the young boys safety (perhaps he really is) but Gin has a mission and shoots Urahara and his questions down with venomous words quicker than Shinso can shoot down an enemy. Gin immediately becomes wary of those soft eyes and blond hair- there is something creepy about Kisuke Urahara.
Gin thinks later on perhaps if he would have told Urahara he would've gotten his revenge sooner... but wheres the fun in that.
I like to think Aizen probably never found out about this... but suspects with how leery Gin is of Urahara during White experiments in Karakura Town.
đȘïž Whatâs the most chaotic thing theyâve done together on pure impulse?
Aizen is known to use Kyoka Suigestu on impulse to play pretend- whether it's for his grand plan or for a taste at "normalcy". He dragged Gin into it at an early age (Tousen loathes the idea, finds it unbecoming) and Gin LOVES it. Each time they don the disguise of someone elses face it is a fantasy to be played out. They wreak havoc; whether they're pretending to be minor nobels, book sellers, or artisans. Their favorite is to cause petty drama across the Court Guard Squad, manipulating inner politics and ruining close relationships. They have too many inside jokes to count about the despair they've brought onto others.
and maybe... just maybe in the quiet moments each man thinks maybe this is what it could have been like if they weren't killers, if Aizen didn't want to ascend to the Heavens and they were just regular men in the Soul Society not the twisted monsters they enable in one another to be.
Gin/Izuru
𧩠What tiny habit of the other do they find unbearably adorable?
Izuru enjoys watching Gin, he likes to think his eyes are hidden behind his long bangs. In his years watching Gin pass from lieutenant to captain he notices something peculiar about the usually cold and capricious Gin. When Gin's working hard on something he has a boyish habit of sticking his tongue out a bit when he's hard at work thinking about something. He'll only do it in private -in the office, in his own quarters. Whether it be he's trying to finish reports, cleaning Shinso or chopping vegetables. It always makes Izuru chuckle.
Gin on the other hand is the master at watching others- especially his lieutenant. He thinks it funny how Izuru will shift his head, hiding his eyes beneath those blond bangs as he nervously double checks what he wrote. Izuru is horrible at spelling for being a writer in the Seireitei Communication. The kid messes up his words an awful lot. Gin finds it cute how at the end of the day the waste paper basket is full, documents messed up from Izuru's atrocious spelling.
đ How do they act when one of them is sick?
I actually wrote this! Here
Izuru is a natural worry-wart. A clucking mother hen when Gin is sick. How will the Third Division carry on without Captain Ichimaru!?
So he of course picks up his and his Captain's duties during the work day while balacing the act of taking care of a sick Gin in the office. Piling blankets on him, making soup and tea full of honey for his captain, he'll probably even wash Gin down with a cool rag. He'll do anything to make his captain feel better. He might even hum something while he grinds up some medicine, he was in the Fourth Division afterall. Gin couldn't be in better hands!
Gin on the other hand wasn't raised right, the Rukongai was eat or be eaten and Aizen left him almost dead on a cot too many times to count. But it doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to care in his own way... he cared for Rangiku when they were children afterall.
He'll likely find his poor lieutenant passed out, overworked himself into a fever. Gin will cluck his tongue and carry Izuru over to the couch, "Mm ya feelin' under the weather, Izuru?" He'll ask with no response just a slight shiver. It's then he worries, worries for his even loyal lieutenant. He'll cuddle Izuru on the couch, covering them with a small blanket to keep the younger man warm, humming something he remembers from his own childhood- a nameless melody. Izuru doesn't stir. This reminds him of being a kid, being held... it's been so long since anyones held him. They'll fall asleep like that, Gin petting his head and telling him not to worry just sleep.
Urahara/Aizen
đ· Who gets tipsy first & starts spilling embarrassing love confessions?
Please ask about any ship, these are fun!
I would honestly go with Aizen here. Perhaps a drinking game had been played, the Fifth Divsion Lieutenant has chosen to try and beat the Twelfth Division Captain! While everyone else at the party has left or fallen asleep they're both still at it late into the night. Talking about Soul Society gossip and Hollow rumors. They shooting back drinks, taking jabs at eachother and having a good time. It's rare either one finds another of the same intellect. It's when Aizen's cheeks are flushed, his lips wet with sake that he ends up saying "I knew you'd be this type of man, Captain Urahara..." Urahara will stop, setting down his cup, his own body flush with liquor and curiosity. "Sosuke is cute with his guard down," he'll think.
"And what kind of man am I, Lieutenant Aizen?" Urahara will purr, he didn't mean for it to come out like that, the words slip from his tongue laced with heat.
"Mm.." Aizen will mumble, looking down into his empty cup. His sharp calculating eyes filling with something else as they rake down Urahara's body and land back up on his face. "The type I enjoy drinking with most..." he'll mumble, his cheeks darkening and not just from alcohol. They'll both stop at those words, unable to make eye contact again till they're both sober. Just a forgotten memory.
Hi! Do you have the AiGin playlist as well? ; 3
I don't have an AiGin Playlist yet... I am such a perfectionist. But I will post top 7 songs I listen to when I am in an AiGin mood. Not all of these will make it onto a Playlist as I need my Playlists to tell a story but these songs have all inspired some sort of writing. Thank you for the ask!
uuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm soooooooooooo almost 2 years ago i made a poem for aizenđ i thought it was so funny when i finished but now i find it funny AND creepyđđ
