Whoooooooo are we? (And do you want to join us?)
Since tonight is the night when two (dancecasters) become one (with UYD Nation), I thought I'd take the opportunity to write a little bit about the state of things here at UYD4Life. I started the site only a little more than a month ago, on December 8th, and since then we've gotten tons of visits. Since I had NO idea what I was doing until, say, June of next year, we'll chalk that instant success up to the fact that I simply tapped into a floodgate of UYDesire for all things Seth and Jah. We here at UYD for Life are just pleased as punch to be the ones to give more of them to you ("Give me you"--Seth's proudest moment on the show, I believe) and hope that we're doing it for you the just the way that you like for it to be done. (I'm currently giving you "I'm doing this" eyes, you just can't see.)
Who are we? Well, I'm Sethro, and I made my husband take a pic of me blogging in my natural habitat. I fear that many of you are picturing me as a weird female/Seth hybrid, and that's true. But I got the noise installed so I don't scare blind people. I started this site and I talk at you the most. Aighead,
who is less of a glory hog than me, uploads the videos and drops them--you know, the ones that people love more than all my posts combined? He also helps me stay on top of business like messages, creates posts, and was the first person to agree to help me so I didn't go cray once I realized this endeavor was going to be out-of-control. In other words, he's the best. Landfill Bill, who is helping with another big UYD proj at the mo', is another OG, who photochops and is in and out. (wnky) Caitlin, our newest member, is a super writer and we are so excited to have her. She's pretty much the new me, considering everyone mistook her first post for mine. Except she's better, because she is writing about TCAP. She's funny, she's clever, and she looooves peeds. (Not like that.)
Look in weeks to come for two new members to come on board, too. Fat Dennis and Ch1zzuh have boarded the SeaOrg ship and are readying their quarters.
So, as you can see, the site has really come a long way in only a month. I blame you fuckers. You've really responded positively to the site, or at least insofar as I can tell. And we want to give you want you want and we want you to be a part of it. So why not make like Caitlin? She saw a hole and she filled it. WANKY WANKY. She loves To Catch a Predator. I mean, she love loves it. And I think that really comes through in her writing. Don't you? Don't you want to be like Caitlin with the peeds and love them so much all day long?
Or do you love Johnny Lee Riches? Or This Week in Florida? Do you love it so much that you want to write about it for the site? Because we think you're really, really funny. Seriously. So, from just shooting a single sentence our way as you hear it on your weekly listen to making a regular submission, we'd appreciate all levels of input. (wnky)
