i missed this darn AU that i came across my old drabbles and decide to rewrite them MDGMSDGMSDG-- Jesse's name is now Jayson, and once more Jessie's in it too. UHHHH its also, er, the main focus through subtle is Jestellra (wlw) and Aidesskas (mlm) sooo UH YEAH

Library. Jayson hums as he pushes the heavy door with his shoulder. Swinging it open, he was welcomed by the smell of papers, inks, and the smell of the rustic air in the library. It aches his nose as he step inside. Beacon Library is a simple library, that's for sure, but it had a extension to it-- a bookstore of sorts. Which is why he's here for, carrying a box full of books that his twin sister asked him to drop them by. It made him smile when he remembered that Jessie brought him here a few months back when they had just started to settled in. It was where he had met the wonderful librarian slash bookstore owner named Lukas. Speaking of him. He looks up to find Lukas and he stopped himself.

Lukas isn't alone in the Beacon Library, and there's another visitor beside him. The man is leaning on the front desk, chatting with Lukas. Lukas, on the other hand, is writing down as he continue to chat in return.

It took Jayson a while to recognize the armor of a Beacontown Guard. He had see him before, from the Training Grounds to the Plaza and other places. Jayson blinks, and stare at the two men, that makes his heart… beat? Not quite jealous, but something else.

Before the farmer could ponder on this thought, his name was called out.

“Oh Jay? Bringing your sister's books over, did you?”

Jayson blinks his eyes and refocuses on the two men, across the room. The man behind the desk and the one who called his name waves and smiles at him. When Jayson chuckles, he walk closer-- Getting the proper look of these two. Lukas in his usual librarian-like outfit with thin glasses perching on his nose as he smiles bright at Jayson. On the front of the desk-- The Guard stood straight when he realize he's not alone. His green eyes glance at him, then gave Jayson a small nod.

"Aiden, right?" Jayson give him a warm smile as he put the box on the front desk. Aiden blinks and cough behind his fist.

"Uh, yes, I… believe Lukas told you about me, I assume?"

Jayson chuckles, leaning on the desk and none of them noticed that Lukas lean back and smiles warmly at these two as Jayson begins,

"Yeah, this dork over here told me all about you all right…"

Deep Forest. Jessie almost groan, she didn't think she have the strength to cut woods, not even with one arm, and yet she still does it. She tied the woods on ropes and put them into the basket-like backpack and she pulls it over her shoulder. She picked up the rest with her only good arm as she huffs at herself for it,

Come to think of this, this is the third… or fourth time she's here. The forest is so deep, it only serve her a fond memory of the first time she came here-- getting lost… and coming across Petra…. She smiles herself at the thought of Petra. The carpenter in training is always somewhere here.

She look around and suddenly she frowns. Jessie curses herself that she had trekked too far and now she doesn't know the way back! …Maybe Jack was right to warn her to not stray too far… But it was the only area that had enough trees to get plenty wood, how can she not!

With a big huff and a stubborn heart, she begin to walk… backward. The more she travelled, the more she saw a vague trail-- a familiar trail, actually. That trail makes her excited to follow it and quickly she did went. Jessie finally came into a clearing, and sigh in relief at the familiar area. At last, she's on the right track. She perk up the noises nearby and turn to find where is the noise came from.

It came from two women, in a lone cabin far from where Jessie is and they're chattering with each other. Jessie's heart beats a little fast when she recongized these two. The tall woman, dressed in fur-made clothes and a bandana talks with a frown, and throughout it, had her arms crossed. The other woman, slightly shorter than the other one, is a blonde woman dressed in a simple dress covered by the shawl. The blonde woman rolled her eyes as the one in fur clothes talk about something else, it had made this woman to poke at her arm, and the two looks like they're arguing.

But to Jessie, they're not actually arguing-- they're bantering in a way that they knew each other forever. Longer than Jessie herself, and althrough she knew these two were childhood friends… Jessie wonders how she came to love these two.

What can you do when you fall for a carpenter and a witch? Simple. You spend time with them, and you will be surprise at yourself in the end. Jayson would be teasing her if Jessie had told him about her crushes but she wouldn't. Not now, not when she thinks these two are… seeming to be into each other.

But again, that brother of hers is too busy thinking about Lukas and… who was that guy’s name? Aid-something? She didn’t have time to see the Guards around the town. Well, except for Axel, but the farmer stopped her wandering thoughts when her name called out.

“Jessie? Did you got lost again?”

Jessie blinks and laughs at herself. She run up the little hill to the witch's cabin, and a smile so bright that she wishes she could usher "i love you" to them as she get closer.

"Oh, look," Aiden's voice speaks up and the woman open one eye to follow his finger to the direction he's pointing at, "They're sparring again."

"...It is getting dark here, through?" Stella huffs, nuzzling herself against her arms on the wooden railing, "Why are these idiots still up at this hour?"

He shrugs, "Must be a bet happening... Again" Then he squints his eyes, "Annnd, looks like it's siblings versus friends."

Stella hums, staring at the arena, "Hm, let me guess, the twins have a knack for improvise and quick thinking against the experienced swordswoman and the experienced archer, sound like a fun night today."

He snorts at that, and Stella was right. Jessie and Jayson do make do when quick-thinking, although differently, of course, where Petra knew her weaponry and Lukas knew his archery.

The two stares at the arena, and it only took a full minute before Stella looks over to Aiden with a barely self controlled of wanting to be there, "Soooo, do you want to go there, grumpy man?"

"Stop-- Stop calling me that," He huffs, but he was ready to go, and Stella follows after him, "But yes, let's go."

Library.

Speaking of the blonde, Jesse halt to the middle of the room. His eyes widen as he look at two figures just across the room. One of them was on his desk, chattering with the person leaning against as he write something down.

It took Jesse a while to recognize the armor of a Beacon Guard. He even see him before, in Training Grounds that was from outskirts. But Jesse can’t help but feel… not Jealous, perhaps? It was something more.

Before the farmer could ponder on this thought, his name was called out.

“Jesse?”

He blinks his eyes and focuses on the two people, across the room. The person who called his name was the one on the desk. Jesse could see his golden hair with a tinted glasses Jesse knew that he occasionally pushes it back. That was Lukas, and beside him, the Beacon Guard was still leaning against the desk. His hair was messy, as if he had left the barracks at the first candle. That’s Aiden.

There is something about these two that Jesse feel attract to. He had knew his own feelings and everything before, it just that… He never thought falling in love with more than one was… a change. A good change.

Jesse breathes in and out. Then he greet these two men with a warm smile.

“Hey guys.”
