Levi exhales slowly through his gritted teeth, eventually relaxing his jaw.

“Never grab a demon’s tail, Eren, it’s very sensitive.”

“Oh, I’m sorry,” Eren apologizes. His wings even droop a little bit. The young angel slackens his grip on Levi’s tail, but then brings his other hand up and starts to gently stroke up and down it. He shoots Levi another apologetic look, continuing his soothing touched.

Levi’s tail twitches instinctively. Levi makes a mental effort to control it from twitching even more

He sighs at the gentle, circular, stroking movements of Eren’s careful, gentle fingertips. Levi continues looking at Eren over his shoulder through lidded eyes.

“Keep going,” Levi says. Eren, so concentrated, does not even look up. He continues his ministrations down Levi’s tail, closer to his spine.

“Down more,” Levi insists. Eren slips down another inch. Levi fights back what could have possibly been a purr.

“Go down even more,” Levi coaxes.

This time, Levi’s voice, gone low and velvety, makes Eren’s eyes flick up.

Eren’s fingertips make that last dip down, caressing over the base of Levi’s spine. A low groan escapes Levi when Eren’s thumb ghosts over that point where his tail joins his spine.

This time, Levi does not hold back, something between a pure and a growl escaping his throat. He arches his back, pressing up into Eren’s hands.

Eren eyes wander over Levi’s curved back, rising up into his caresses.
