First, TB growth into actual person is noticed, even if just by March. We have Dan Heng actually admitting openly is feelings. And that March is no longer running towards learning about her past instead just accepting the future. Sunday is finally opening up to us about his own past too.

We also get more of Himeko, her opening up to us and promising to tell us the story of her repairing the Astral Express. And Pom-Pom lore!! With, wow, never expected to see that coming.

Welt is just stressed the fuck out

The whole AE finally feels like people and I'm happy that they're getting focus.

We get jumped by the dread of having Aeons remains.

Sweet. Nice. Totally not stressful.

Then, we get sweet moments between Silver Wolf and Blade, with interruption from Ashveil.

We get to learn of Blade's, or more so Yingxing's past and his relationships with people. We get to hear him when he was young, along with Baiheng flashback and baby Jing Yuan with Jingliu. Fortunately or not, Dma Feng was not once mentioned by name now he was shown. I like the idea that he moved on from the past Imbibitor Lunae and let himself forget about him a bit to remember Dan Heng as his own person.

I don't have a picture of the place where we could see all the weapons he had made, and the one he didn't (sounds like a fanfic name okay). I have little theory that all weapons on the right side were made for the people he cherishes still, and he clearly does.

While on the left are those who he has no emotional attachment to.

Which would imply that Yingxing and Jing Yuan's relationship was stained long before the fallout, but it's backed up by the fact he hadn't made Kafka's sword that is there so he can't have emotional attachment to it. He himself describes it in flashback as bad work. And that normal soldier sword is right there too.

Blade being sweet to Silver Wolf and her actually admitting things is also wonderful to see. Their dynamic is something I never thought about, I always thought they are the most apart instead of attached to the hip lol.

I think Silver Wolf's relationship with Blade is supposed to be a slight representation of what Real Himeko wished to have with her father, later Our Himeko wished for despite her defensive reaction to Ryusuke's appearance after all those years.

Himeko's whole conversation with her "father" was actually quite wholesome until the final moment when everything was revealed. After the whole reveal that neither of them is what they wish to be, it's rather obvious how awkward they are in the role of daughter and father.

Asat's reaction was also clearly emotional, as much as that Ravager would hate to admit it. He didn't act with calculative precision while revealing his real self, on the contrary when he acted on emotion. His voice, even the look in his eyes is different.

The whole story of Graphia that we get before we have a moment of Himeko and Ryusuke also suits very well. It explains what it actually looks like from the outsider's perspective and what consequences Himeko would be forced to live through if Asat stayed.

The Graphias connection to Astral Express is clear poke at how Himeko's backstory was.

Graphia and Himeko aren't parallel stories, they're the same story, one 1000 years in the past and one in modern times. They are raised by Demon, they discover Trailblaze and AE as the first of the new generation, make the Demon leave and we. We don't know the ending.

Blade getting his life back and first conversation with Shuhu that was in the game. It was so epic to hear it.

Himeko's having the same dream, one reaching out towards the express is letting the dream become true while the other is just watching.

I want this artstyle so bad. Oh and Oroboros vs Elation is such a cool concept.
