i’m totally willing to read a coffee shop au but i don’t think i’d ever write it. for one thing that trope feels like it’s kind of been done to death, and for another, i tend to write angst and most coffee shop au’s are relatively fluffy.

if i WERE going to write it though, it would probably for harvey/mike or derek/stiles.

this was me for like a whole year in RVA, and I would sneak into the kitchen at night after my roommates had gone to bed

I've always hated this. Especially when I was like, 18 and applying for jobs. Who the hell do you want?

right?? honestly, it was nerve wracking enough to get recommendation letters for school, i don’t need that drama every time i apply for a new job

Character witnesses, basically. I've encountered that a few times. I have a couple friends of my mom that I always use, haha.

the weird part is the request that they not be professional references tho?
