maybe he gets that it's not your fault at all. It really isn't. it just bounds to happen.

can he eventually accept it? and make the best of it while it lasts?

he'll love you as long as you're here with him. and will continue to after you're gone. he doesn't wanna let you go, he really doesn't.

you exist in his heart unit forever. never replaced, never forgotten. even long after he's given to someone new.

... or he spirals and scrambles to find a way to prevent you from leaving him. one way or another... whether you like it or not.

why wait for it to happen when he can just, prevent it. right here and now?

maybe the method still allows you to be awake, you plead, you try to reason with him; you scream, and you cry.

you can't see your friend and family anymore, but it's fine. you don't need them.

maybe it doesn't, and traps you in an endless slumber.

your soul, delicate and vibrant. locked up and kept by his side at all times.

your body limp and unresponsive, he had it laid down, nice and comfy.

awake or not, he's sad that he can't see your smile anymore. he can't hear your laughter anymore.
