Day 24
An early morning trip to the ATM for Oz meant imprisonment for me as he bolted the door when he left and I wasn’t able to get out for my morning masala chai 😤
When he returned he explained he had met a guy putting up flyers for AA and had arranged to hook up later around 4:30.
We had breakfast of cinnamon toast and fruit porridge then hit the beach once more.
We hired some body boards and had some fun using the new waterproof sports camera. Oz went to hook up with John or as Oz labelled him ‘Ajohnda’.
On the way back to our place we stopped off at Zest, a vegan cafe on the roadside. Very nicely done up with loads of plants and chilled music. We ordered a carrot cake and a mango and coconut cake plus a coconut chai latte. The latte was a bit disappointing as it didn’t have much flavour to it and unfortunately the cakes were frozen, you could tell they would have been amazing if they’d been thawed out 😂
For dinner we went to the Hidden Garden which was recommended to us by the lady who did my pedicure. It was a lovely place on the beach and we shared 8 king prawns (450rps/a fiver!) with a Greek salad and a veg biryani, the food was great... apart from the Hello to the Queen which let it down in both size and the fact the banana wasn’t baked.
These lazy days fail to increase our energy levels and there’s little fight left in either of us by 10:30 pm so a little meditation or ‘sleepy time music’ as it’s better known and Zzzzzzzzz.
NB Oz maintains that this is part of his spiritual routine however he rarely gets past the introduction before Mr snorey face arrives!
