Why Live in Metuchen?
Small town with big access to everything should sum things up. Access to the NJT Rail line to NYC is the #1 draw; no matter where you are in town the train is easily accessible right on Main St. Speaking of Main St, the town is host to the areas most fab restaurants and shopping while keeping that friendly vibe Metuchen is famous for. Check out Mangia Toscano for fine Italian foods and baked goods or PhattraΒ Thai Restaurant or some great Irish fair at Hailey's Harp & Pub and so much more. Need to pick up something special for someone? Pop into the Jewel Shop you never know what you will find. Obviously living here is awesome, but I should note having two children go through the school system, I could not be happier with the quality of their education. There is a real sense of community in Metuchen and everyone is welcomed to participate in as much or little as they want to or their lives will allow. This is a beautiful historic town where you can walk your dog down wide sleepy streets or take a late night stroll down Main St. with your sweetheart to catch some local entertainment.
